State sanctioned, not State sponsored. Sponsorship implies tangible support such as money and/or materials; sanctioning only requires approval … even if it’s just tacit.

The only thing Antifa has in common with fascists is they both like to beat people up.
Technique belies intentions.
Antifa showed up to act as the Democratic Party’s brownshirts, as they always do. They’re not an anarchist group, so we can stop pretending otherwise.

Yes, the exact funding for Antifa is not clear, but I suspect that a large portion of their leadership are paid informants.
To my knowledge, there has never been an FBI swat team raid on Antifa. Antifa members are rarely arrested. In the rare cases when they are arrested, they are immediately out on bond. The charges are almost always quietly dropped at a later date. That is consistent with the FBI/DOJ interceding for their release.
Antifa are our fascist goons and bullies.

According to an undercover reporter, Antifa members go through extensive training on how to maximize injuries and intimidation to anyone who opposes them. The leadership of Antifa appears to have connections to leftist groups in Europe. See video 2:20:
