The trump recession may be here

This post felt good. The emoji made it feel really good, because emojis are used to convey feelings.

Alternating upper and lower case letters also conveys a certain level of feeling as well.

Praying for that economic miracle.

You strike me as a more insightful and astute poster than what this post would indicate.

Markets are still looking strong to me, lets see where they close.

:chart_with_upwards_trend:

Markets are where they were 20 months ago. And we’re about to get to celebrate 26,000. Again.

We already celebrated it. The low on the day is 25,978 before creeping back up.

Might get to break it several times today. Nobody’s ever broke through 26k like Trump has. Winning.

Glad I pulled my 401k a week ago when the writing was on the wall.

Trump recession? I thought it was the Tory recession.

“John McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, said: “Today’s dismal economic figures are a direct result of Tory incompetence. The Tories’ Brexit bungling, including Boris Johnson now taking us towards no-deal, is breaking the economy.””

Or…it could be where we are in the business cycle.

That or somehow blame obama.

I put money in my account during Obama and it consistently grew like good money should.

I put money in my account during Trump and it grew a little real quick, then bounced around like a drunk terrier for the past year. I used to play with some retail financial toys but that’s not even fun anymore when Trump’s throwing out wild card tweets.

I used to at least be able to recognize and understand people that said they hated trump but supported him because of their retirement or the stock market. But we’re past that making sense, and unless you and your buddies are planning on building a new lead smelter in a national park or writing payday loans, there’s nothing else for you in the plan. Now we just have a maniac rolling bones on twitter.

Good grief man. Are you seriously trying to equate people answering that absurd hypothetical poll to that of people praying for a recession? I guess the OP of that thread accomplished the desired goal. Good job Doug. Really, really good job! :+1:

That poll is all the proof I need. Case closed.

Lamer than lame poll.

I don’t know anybody who wants a recession.

They are praying! PRAYING!!!

That’s the problem. Not enough thoughts and prayers. No wonder the economy is crashing. Between the Republicans spending like drunken sailors and Trump waging his idiotic trade war, the BIGGEST drain on the economy is the lack of worship of the giant cheeto stained resident in the White House behind it all. If only more people blindly worshipped Mango Mussolini without question, everything would be awesome. And when the annoying Orange loses next year, whoever the Democrats throw up will be the reason, because our fat president doesn’t lose elections unless they’re rigged.

Indeed. The only caveat I’ll offer is that I believe the man will be re-elected. We are now a Reality TV society. A modern version of the Roman Empire, when Gladiator battles reigned supreme for entertainment. Apathetic idiocy has replaced astute intellect. Lunacy now substitutes for logic. Welcome to the Idiocracy!

Settle down guys. The tax cuts just need one more year to kick in. Plus, trade wars are easy to win. And we are building the wall!
