So if two guys come to rob my house I shouldn’t be worried about the one who didn’t break the window?
EternalVigilance: Jezcoe:We have had civil unrest before.
Jan 6th was something new.
That group was considerably dumber than what we’d seen during the prior nine months. I have to give credit to the left because they understand the need to cover their faces when they’re assaulting Federal buildings, rather than taking selfies in Pelosi’s office to post on Instagram.
If only Trump had been pro mask, most of those people would be walking free today.
If he’d been more pro mask and led by example there would be 10,000 of thousands (maybe more) alive today and Trump** would be in the White House right now. (Well actually since its Friday he’d be on his way to his golf club, but you know what I mean.)

TheDoctorIsIn:How does it make a difference, to the cop who shot her?
How did he know she wasn’t fleeing the mob?
Are you serious? Come on, normally you discuss things in much better faith than this.

And bragging about in on Facebook.
I actually saw that happen on a thread from a group local to my area…bragging about breaking into the Capitol.
Then someone asked them if they were truly bragging online about committing a crime.
After an exchange of insults, the threads vanished…but I’m sure there were several screenshots.
Maybe we should call it the Stupid Insurrection? Trump did say he loved the uneducated…
The poor woman apparently really misses those FBI Russian connection investigations and Impeachment hearings.
Funny and inaccurate twist.
If there were half the covid victims Trump would have been besmirched just the same.
Trump vaccine saved us another year of authoritarian malfeasance.

Quite silly… I know you need some whataboutism and that is stupid enough but at least don’t claim that she was shot in the head.
Shoulder shots whatever. And I know outrageous to compare liberals invading the Senate building to conservatives invading the capital, totally different things that can’t be compared. Maybe they could have just pounded on the doors of the capital like the liberals did the supreme court.
Perhaps you should list the similarities and dissimilarities between the two events. It might be educational for us.
Sure, main difference is the liberals were allowed to walk in and were then arrested.
Ok. Any other differences?
Not that I can think of, both buildings weren’t open to protestors. That’s why they arrested them.
Ok. To be clear, that is the only difference you can see?
Also for clarity, what date for the liberal invasion of the senate so I can look it up?

There ya go.
Thanks. So in your view, the only difference is the protesters were allowed to walk in. Was the Hart Building open to the public at the time? Not Heller’s office, the Hart Building?
Open to the general public, maybe, open to unlawful protestors, no.

At what point did the protest become unlawful?

At what point did the protest become unlawful?
At the point they came together to protest without a permit. Or left the area they had a permit for.

WuWei:Oh come now, you have repeatedly claimed she broke it. Now it could have been “someone else”?
Do you really think this is a solid argument?
No one likes a pedant.
I absolutely do. You should be ashamed embarking on your career and accusing people without proof. Tsk, tsk.
Camp:It was political. No difference.
So trying to overturn a lawful election is “just political” now.
Got it.
Of course it’s political.
Axxowiz:Got to like the tactic milk January 6th while ignoring the ■■■■ show in other cities burning, rioting, and looting for the other 364 days. Republicans should take note.
We have had civil unrest before.
Jan 6th was something new.
Was it? What was novel about it?
At the point they came together to protest without a permit. Or left the area they had a permit for.
Equivalency denied.
zantax:She didn’t get that far before she was met with violence. Unlike liberals in the Hart building.
Lol she was bashing down the door to the Speaker’s Lobby.
Prove it.
Was it? What was novel about it?
You guys have all become super iffy on peaceful transfers of power, that’s for sure.
Prove it.
Lol it’s on video.
You won’t make her into Vicki Weaver no matter how hard you try.

We are discussing the law.

Now there’s a crime.
