The question is a pointless deflection.
If Ashli appeared in my window…it would be the beginning of a night of fun.

Oh come now, you have repeatedly claimed she broke it. Now it could have been “someone else”?
The question is a pointless deflection.
No, it goes directly to the root of all of this.
If Ashli appeared in my window…it would be the beginning of a night of fun.
And of course, you didn’t answer the question.
What if was a scary lib?
enki: zantax: enki: zantax:Why would there be, there was no need to get violent to gain access, they got that for free.
because the building was open to the public.
But not to unlawful protests, hence the arrests.
Did you know that only 9 out of the 293 people arrested were arrested for unlawful protests? They were arrested on the fourth floor of the Dirksen Senate Office Building, not the Hart Building. The rest were arrested for crowding and obstructing in the Hart building.
peacefully.
Psst, that wasn’t the only time the left unlawfully demonstrated there.
when are we talking about then…

Do you really think this is a solid argument?
No one likes a pedant.

Dreamers.
Smyrna:Let’s get what rolling…to continue her lying ass off telling the world a police officer was murdered by insurrectionists with a fire extinguisher and parade his coffin in front of tv cameras to help perpetuate her lie? Why would anyone continue to endorse this piece of feces?
Here is an interview with a lady last night who pleaded to a misdemeanor charge called parading.
Law enforcement apparently threw the book at this unarmed woman including two days in jail and seeing to it a public spectacle was made in arresting her leading to loss of employment (13 years tenure with the same company).
How is that not worse than smoking weed or other ■■■■ that gets people arrested and fired
It was political. No difference.
So trying to overturn a lawful election is “just political” now.
Got it.
We have had civil unrest before.
Jan 6th was something new.
That group was considerably dumber than what we’d seen during the prior nine months. I have to give credit to the left because they understand the need to cover their faces when they’re assaulting Federal buildings, rather than taking selfies in Pelosi’s office to post on Instagram.

If only Trump had been pro mask, most of those people would be walking free today.

Sadly, I do agree with that.

ah, gotcha.
the other non-violent peaceful protest with no one smashing barricades because the building was open to the public.

Quite silly… I know you need some whataboutism and that is stupid enough but at least don’t claim that she was shot in the head.
Shoulder shots whatever. And I know outrageous to compare liberals invading the Senate building to conservatives invading the capital, totally different things that can’t be compared. Maybe they could have just pounded on the doors of the capital like the liberals did the supreme court.
Perhaps you should list the similarities and dissimilarities between the two events. It might be educational for us.
Sure, main difference is the liberals were allowed to walk in and were then arrested.
Ok. Any other differences?
Not that I can think of, both buildings weren’t open to protestors. That’s why they arrested them.
Ok. To be clear, that is the only difference you can see?
Also for clarity, what date for the liberal invasion of the senate so I can look it up?

There ya go.
Thanks. So in your view, the only difference is the protesters were allowed to walk in. Was the Hart Building open to the public at the time? Not Heller’s office, the Hart Building?
TommyLucchese: zantax:Oh wait, she just called again to say she would actually prefer to have been treated like the liberals who invaded the Senate building instead. No tear gas or headshots involved.
Seems pretty likely that if she had just come to the gallery, jeered them and left like them dudes did, she wouldn’t have ended up with a bullet in her chest.
She didn’t get that far before she was met with violence. Unlike liberals in the Hart building.
Was there violence perpetrated on the Capitol police before the Ashlii encounter in that hall?
You are off on a tangent angle.
TheDoctorIsIn: zantax:Why were they asked to leave a building open to the public?
You’d have to ask the cops for specifics.
Probably because hundreds of people were standing around in the lobby.
You simply can’t have it both ways. Sorry. The building was not open to protests, they were charged with unlawful demonstration. Their presence in the building was unlawful, just as the capitol building Trump supporters were.
I read how 30 were arrested for sitting in Heller’s office. That’s not the Hart Building as it is a private office within it that wouldn’t be open to the public.
TheDoctorIsIn: WuWei:Prove it.
Do you think it matters whether she broke the window, or if someone else standing next to her did, as it applies to whether she was a threat?
Yes. I know it does. If you can’t prove, don’t accuse.
You know better than that.
So if two guys come to rob my house I shouldn’t be worried about the one who didn’t break the window?

If he’d been more pro mask and led by example there would be 10,000 of thousands (maybe more) alive today and Trump** would be in the White House right now. (Well actually since its Friday he’d be on his way to his golf club, but you know what I mean.)
WW
TheDoctorIsIn:How does it make a difference, to the cop who shot her?
How did he know she wasn’t fleeing the mob?
Are you serious? Come on, normally you discuss things in much better faith than this.

And bragging about in on Facebook.
I actually saw that happen on a thread from a group local to my area…bragging about breaking into the Capitol.
Then someone asked them if they were truly bragging online about committing a crime.
After an exchange of insults, the threads vanished…but I’m sure there were several screenshots.
Maybe we should call it the Stupid Insurrection? Trump did say he loved the uneducated…
