I totally agree with his instinct to take on china, but TPP was a better strategy.
From an Aussie perspective it is very foreign to have the likes of Trump, Biden, McConnell and Pelosi in such senior positions given their ages.
Wasn’t handled well is putting it mildly. One would think a “successful businessman” would know better than forcing one of our biggest customers to become one of our biggest competitors.
A cornerstone of Clinton’s campaign was the fact that Trump isn’t a good businessman. Unfortunately her campaign was never able to make it stick.
Dumb move, especially when he had a whole show devoted to his “great business skills” of course it was Hollywood but the folks on the right love Hollywood politicians

Add in his weird shenanigans in Ukraine with Giuliani, bizarre dramas like buying Greenland, sharpiegate, paying off porn stars, firing everyone except Pence, golfing endlessly, tweetraging daily, etc.
People had become completely exhausted with the Trump sideshow carnival that looked more like.a bad reality TV show than real life.
It’s a hell of lot better legacy the the Democrat leftist socialist legacy of destroying the country!
I’ll own the rigged election legacy as it’s the biggest political travesty in my lifetime and I know something went wrong.

Yes. Clearly it didn’t benefit us at all. Those layoffs were just a major coincidence.
I hired Trump to stop Hillary…which he did.
Yes he could have handled Covid better…either way the election was stacked against him because of the way it was handled.
Trump also alienated suburban housewives…that was the nail in his 2020 reelection coffin IMO.
