Will the Dems retake the Senate?

Please just let Ted Cruz lose, seeing his collapse brings me pleasure.

Um the r word is now politically incorrect so we just call them Trumpkins.

Voting yes will definitely help a Republican politician in a Trump Republican state.

And when you call people here by that term, your posts get deleted.

One poll and she’s done?

LOL.

People counted her out 6 years ago and she upset the applecart.

It was so bad in 2010 for her, she wasnt given a ghost of a chance.

Yet when the smoke cleared she won. Very popular among the population of a very small state.

she has a better chance of winning than say Beto winning Texas.

Donnelly in Indiana also will win easily.

McKaskill is favored.

Nelson will hang on against Scott

Manchin is popular

Only Manchin I think. He was their governor before senator and he’s personally well liked. But I doubt it will help the others. It would probably be seen as a very cynical, cheap ploy to pander to voters.

Here is one from MO showing McCaskill in trouble. Polls I’ve seen show Josh Hawley starting to take momentum in this race, hopefully McCaskill is another D Senator who will be retired in January.

The heated battle over Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court has hurt vulnerable Democratic senator Claire McCaskill of Missouri in her race for reelection, according to a recent poll.

The poll , conducted by Remington Research Group on Wednesday and Thursday, found that 49 percent of 1,555 likely Missouri voters said they were less likely to vote for McCaskill after witnessing Kavanaugh’s confirmation process, while 42 percent said they were more likely to vote for her. Notably, 47 percent of women said the Kavanaugh process had made them less likely to vote for McCaskill compared to 42 percent who said the opposite.

We’re all thinking of them by that term, so whether the post gets deleted doesn’t matter.

I suppose that Fat Donald is also cause for deletion, but there’s no other way to think of the guy.

In 2 stories that bear a bit of watching:

Real Clear Politics has moved Cramer v Heitkamp from “Toss Up” to “Leans GOP”. The latest poll released gave Cramer a +10. The last 3 polls are now favoring Cramer.

Real Clear Politics has also moved Menendez vs Hugin from “Likely Dem” to “Toss Up”. The latest poll released has Menendez at +2. The last 2 polls have Menendez being favored.

As we are only 36 days out from casting votes, it will be interesting to watch these, as well as the other toss up races to see if there is any swings.

The poll was conducted by Remington research co,

they are not the most accurate pollers out there with a 67% hit rate according to 538.

I would want to stake a post on their findings in a single poll.

Fair enough, although there is evidence Hawley may be gaining momentum, as he’d lead in 2 of the last 3 polls. Still very tight, but in many cases late deciders often go against the incumbent, and MO has been trending redder in recent years.

Today’s, Quinnpaic was mendendez +11 and todays FDU was mendenez +6

Mendendez will win.

The latest from 538:

WV Dem Manchin – 87.8%
IN Dem Donnelly — 75.9%
AZ Dem Sinema ---- 66.1%
MO Dem McCaskill – 60.8%
NV Dem Rosen ----- 53.6%

ND Dem Senator Heitkamp is probably going to lose her re-election bid.

For Dems to take the senate, they Gotta win two of three of these- Tennessee, Florida and North Dakota——and not lose Missouri. (Pretty sure Texas is out.)

That’s the hard road here.

The latest FOX News Poll has Sinema up by just two percentage points over McSally.

ND Democratic Senator Heitkamp is likely going to lose her re-election bid. The latest FOX News Poll has her GOP Opponent 12 percentage points ahead of her.

ND is almost certainly going to flip, and TN should stay red. Just can’t see it flipping now, Dems have fired up R voters, especially in red states. Plus Bresden is really old.

lol the senate will gain republicans thank you democrats you revealed how of how much you are anti-American with you recent action of guilty till proven innocent–oh unless your a democrat, then it is innocent till proven guilty
remember payback comes when you least can afford it

Dead heats usually go to the incumbent though.

Not really sure what that has to do with anything. He was a very successful businessman, mayor, and governor. Blackburn has never been anything but a right-wing shill. Unfortunately, in TN, that may be enough to get her elected, which is unfortunate. Bredesen was incredibly effective and good for the state in various prior capacities.
