Just an observation. In order for the Republicans to really have control of the Senate, they need to pick up one seat. Collins said she only supported Kavanaugh because she thinks he will uphold Roe v. Wade, and we know Murkowski (sp?) would not support anybody who’d overturn Roe v. Wade. It is like they have to appease both of them on that issue. Amy Barrett would not have passed with the current Senate. The one reason I held my nose and voted for Trump, I am conservative, (I didn’t trust him on the conservative end because of his personal attacks on people, vulgarity, and he was born and bred a New York Democrat, I didn’t believe he was going to be really conservative, his past support for single payer) was because of his list of judges that he was going to pick from. It was disgusting to me that the Democrats were so upfront that they were so pro Roe vs. Wade, and all these ‘conservatives’ who said 'don’t worry, he won’t be for overturning Roe v. Wade. The pro-life issue is one of the major reasons I held my nose and voted for him. He kept to that list. I am hopeful that the Republicans can get one more seat to make it 52-48, so they don’t have to worry about appeasing Murkowski & Collins.
Roe v. Wade will never be overturned. It’s not even the controlling precedent anymore.

Until congress represents states in proper proportions, the majority will still be controlled by the minority.
It’s insane that the bottom 26 states in population only make up 18% of the electorate, yet have 52 Senators???
Ridiculous.
While the House is more representative proportionally, it’s still woefully inaccurate. For example, Wyoming has one Senator and California has 53. Proper representation would give Wyoming one with California getting about 78.

I learned in 2016 to take all polls with a grain of salt. The only poll that matters is on Election Day.
And even that one can be wonky at times…
