For this crisis…Not as a norm.
Maybe less sanctuary cities would help California out of the red
Prove it. Period
Bill.in.PA:The basic flaw in the Guardian article is that congressional representatives do not run the cities, mayors do.
I checked and Jackson, Baton Rouge, Little Rock, and Cincinnati have all had Democrats for mayor since 2016. I did not bother checking the rest.
I would be surprised if more the one or two of the cities on the list have Republican mayors.
So did I and I stopped at the top 11. I could have kept going but the point is made. Dem leadership and policies create cities of violence…period.
Liberalism (as applies to today’s left) generates the exact opposite of its stated intent
no exceptions
Prove it. Period
Just did. Thanks.
ohknow35:I said they run those places (into the ground).
And no Republicans in those areas to be found. Such a weak defense.
He’s right on the money.

So no proof. Got it.
Eagle-Keeper:Most of the world’s problems are the result of lousy parenting. The answer is individual responsibility especially regarding bringing a child into the world along with how that child is raised.
Please explain how you arrived at this conclusion…what data and analysis did you do?
Have you ever looked at the statistics on Children born in to econmically stable married households compared to children born to single parent households and/or children born in poverty?
So no proof. Got it.
So…you can’t read. Got it.
mobulis:So no proof. Got it.
So…you can’t read. Got it.
I read fine, I read no proof. Just a statement with no evidence.

The basic flaw is that correlation does not equal causation and that articles and threads like this are for simple people.
True. What is the causation?
You are leading one side of this thread for simple people.

Steady…
I read fine, I read no proof. Just a statement with no evidence.
…cept the top 11 cities in the entire nation having the most crime are run and have been run by Democrat mayors. Not one is an R or an L. Not one!
one thing we see is higher population tends populations toward more left leaning ideologies. The whole psychological aspect to rioting is the separation of thinking as an individual into more of acting as a group. Also I think sense of community has a lot to do with it. In middle america, we see more of a sense of community. This is primarily due to more monogamous cultures along with the smaller population. But in larger cities, that community is separated. There are so many diverse people that you lose that sense of community.
You forgot to mention that a big part of how one behaves is a function of how they are raised and the values they are taught by their parents.

And that’s not proof.
The reason is the Democrats need a continuous dependent and angry voter base. They not only never “let a crisis go to waste” they create ongoing crises In their communities as a political tool to maintain their power. It’s a harsh reality that unfortunately plays out routinely with these violent riots and lawlessness in Democrat controlled states and cities.
Personally I don’t think Biden has a prayer.
But he was their best available residential candidate. Says a lot about the shallowness of the Democrat pool.

That’s a socio-economic observation, not a “their parents were lousy” observation.

Other than saying, " it ain’t so," and calling people dumb who think it is so, do you have an actual argument as to why good (by blue standards) governance in blue cities produced so much more crime, poverty and violence than bigoted (by blue standards) governance in red cities.?
And that’s not proof.
It’s proof you’re full of it…
