The most OT I ever had was 56 hours during snow season. But normally I put in 40 hour work weeks. Iāve been lucky. If a snow storm last 3-4 days, youāre there the entire time. Iāve been able to avoid that so far, but thatās why I now hate the snow.
If one wants a chicken every night and hunts, plucks and cooks it then good for them.
If one wants a chicken every night but doesnāt know how to hunt, pluck or cook but knows how to grow vegetables and each party is willing to trade, good for them both.
If one wants a chicken and vegetables but contributes nothing of value to the process, waiting for someone to feed them, they starve.
There is a big difference between and āhand upā and a āhand outā. Every conservative I know will bend over backwards to give a hand up, but rarely a hand out.
I think mine right now isā¦ 60-65. And Iām on salary so I only get paid for 45 total. Hopefully once we have more people (most of the people who are applying are complete idiots who canāt even tie their own shoes much less sell parts and run the retail rush) and the store is in order I can drop down to 50. That was my average at my previous store.
They make it up in commission (I get paid a decent commission off of what the store makes every month) and bonuses.
Thatās why I havenāt been posting as much as I did on the previous board. My day starts at 4:00am and generally doesnāt end till 7:00pm. Some days I leave at 4 or 5 if we manage to get the tasks done on time but we are short staffed so I pick up the slack to keep from running my payroll too high.
As is mine, not counting transportation, or the roughly 10 hours spent working from home, out of about 40 hours spent at home with work items open in the background
The unavoidable truth is, the Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortezā, Andrew Gillum andAyanna Pressleyās socialist plan for āfreeā college tuition will be paid for by taxing millions of college graduates who worked for and paid their own way through college and are now trying to finance their own economic needs.
