What would our government do differently/better/cheaper if it controlled the entire health care market?

Then you should have no problem with price increases then right?

Comparing what percent we spend as a percent of GDP is a meaningless metric. It tells you how much is spent but not what you get for the money. There are many other factors that influence how much is spent besides whether we have a private or public system. Is it a bargain if you spend less and get less? And no, just pointing to better results for the poor doesn’t mean we bought less medical goods and services for that extra money that we spent, only that less of it was spent on the poor.

None at all, as long as the market is free to work.

Well, the concept is that you would be paying less.

As my dad says, that’s a great idea, the only problem with it is it isn’t worth a ■■■■■

So I’m going to have 2 policies and the combined price is going to cost me less? I call bull ■■■■■

So lets look at Flint Michigan water issue?
That was Government run and the water was unsafe but the government will be able to Manage these things with no issues.

.I have my doubts on how well the government will be better with healthcare. Because we have seen how the government lets things fall apart.

The US spends way more per capita than most other industrialized nations

Yep just like our military and police. Worthless! Do you want medicare abolished?

Yes, and… Multiple insurances will solve this problem?

No, it won’t.

We should just have government gyms that people run in hamster wheels generating renewable energy while also getting healthier via exercise and give them $300 a month mandatory show up. Solves energy, health care, and income.

Oh ok so you are for a monopolistic insurance industry? Lol. You’re shouting free market then complaining about having multiple insurance policies.

There have been times, usually under democratic leadership where the military and police were neglected and allowed to deteriorate. Look at how 'bama treated the police.

I want to not be ■■■■■■ with.

Other industrialized nations that spend way less than the US per capita are built on hybrid public/private systems.

Woof woof

Answer the question. Do you want medicare abolished? You guys sure like to dodge this one

No. I’m complaint about being forced to buy multiple policies. Not about having options available. i am fully covered under the one policy I now have. Why should I give it up for something that is inferior?

No. I also don’t want it ■■■■■■ with.

I also don’t want to be in it yet

I’m all for if people want to buy private and opt out of Medicare/ get a rebate / deduction on payroll.

Why do you not want to eliminate Medicare?

I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of employers dropped coverage of Medicare for all was still optional

Even worse
