IMO if republicans can hang onto Rustbelt states there future will be bright. If they lose I-80 corridor they lose Nationally.
I said this in 2012…when I saw Rustbelt states were in play. Sadly repugs went with Romney…but make no mistake Gingrich seen/saw what I’ve seen.

Rubio may be a Trump appointee, but he is not a MAGA per se.
I think the fact that no one here can simply state the MAGA movement values bolsters the idea that the movement is simply Trump.
Also supporting that view, the ease with which followers of the movement switch their views on all sorts of things. The topical example being tariffs. One morning, high incredibly high tariffs are excellent, and sure to bring prosperity to America. The next morning, removing those very same tariffs is exactly what this country needs…
There is no underlying value or principle or political theory. It’s all just, whatever Trump says…
