What I find to be funny are those who claim they will never yield.
They go through a CBP checkpoint and are asked for documents. A normal person would quickly produce the documents and be on their merry way. Someone who supposedly knows their rights, refuses while claiming their rights are being violated. A confrontation ensues and they are detained for several hours. Naturally they have to run to the local paper with their story. And on cue, forum lefties start a thread.
Agreed. If I’m a passenger in a routine traffic stop, I never gave ID. I was never detained as a result. They’re looking and hoping you incriminate yourself.
First…look at your OP and the word YOU CHOSE to use to describe this as “jail”. It wasn’t jail. These are offices the customs agents use to separate, detain and question those entering the country. It’s a common practice. As I said, it’s happened to me. I lived on the US/Canadian border for decades and understand this practice. You’re attempting to make this something that it isn’t because of your "V"irtuousness. The only thing I regret is that this same practice wasn’t done at the southern border during the Biden Administration. If it was, this nation wouldn’t have been overrun with illegals that you don’t say squat about. Now…why is that?
And we know that the keyboard jockeys in this group who are mouthy about it from the safety of their basement would also simply show what is requested and move along in real life.
