Finally the official word is out, Judge Murgia is a dirt bag

The Chairman of the United States House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary has sent letters to the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and several other individuals demanding information regarding the conduct of Judge Carlos Murguia and the official response to the conduct. They want to know if any other Judge was aware of the conduct and if so, when.

I am glad to see this occurrence. The only way to stop this behavior in the Article III Judiciary is to aggressively hunt for it and to shine a massive spotlight on the offenders.

While it is unlikely that impeachment will be pursued against Judge Murguia, at least he can no longer hide in the shadows.
