Also, Elaine Chao could easily ground these planes until their software is updated. Take a good guess why she’s not doing that.

I guess the truth hurts. This model is particularly dangerous due to it’s desire to want to go nose down and tip over at full power which is why special retraining was required for all pilots and copilots flying it.
Most “Stick and Rudder” pilots would agree.
Boeing’s Money, power, and influence.
Only two countries are continuing to allow this model to fly until the problem is worked out, The US and Canada, the rest have grounded them.
Which is BS, Boeing was not prevented from upgrading the software by the shutdown.
