To highlight the fact that Obama should put himself at risk as much as he did the general population. It was an unnecessary risk. So that is exactly the point.
Wow…still trying to blame someone…anyone instead of viewing this in realistic manner.
The general population was never at risk.
Except in this case Obama listened to the CDC and understood the science that made it clear there was no risk…
I don’t think he put anyone at risk anymore then caring for patients in less they best facilities in third world country.
But that’s not the point, we don’t leave Americans behind.
It’s a wonderful sentiment, but it’s also the one that increases the risk of transmitting an almost 100% fatal disease.
As the risk goes down, I suppose the permissibility does as well, but I still wouldn’t recommend it.
Would you say there was more or less risk of transmission by transporting them to US soil.
There was no risk to the general population. The only risk was to the medical staff that took care of them. And when they followed protocol, there was no risk to them.
More or less?
There was no risk to the general population. There was always going to be a small risk of transmission in the medical community
Sorry I disagree. If they can’t transport patients with Ebola safely then what have been paying for over these years?
And yes it is wonderful sentiment knowing that America won’t leave you behind.
They would have died if they stayed in Africa.
Didn’t they all survived?
Have to refresh my memory.
Yes they did. Except for the guy from Sierra Leon who traveled here and got sick. But no one in his family who he was staying with while sick got infected.
The same could be said about border security, yet here we are.
When you don’t have a real argument based in facts just oversimplify it to an extreme? OK.
Its not almost 100% fatal.
Big difference. If we wanted to shut down our southern border it would be shut down.
No, one died. In Nebraska. The other was Liberian.
I’m talking about money spent. A lot more has been spent on border security.
