So you disagree with my assessment that Trump is an ■■■■■■■■
The shortage of test kits and other testing hiccups has been severely disappointing so far. It already created problems isolating the first community spread cases in CA.
That is what the delay created by travel bans and quarantines was supposed to give us time to prepare for:

Fair enough. They did take necessary precautions to bring them back safely…just like they did with those that had coronavirus in Asia. Those that claimed they didn’t were wrong just as wrong as those were back during Ebola crisis.
Transferring victims of infectious disease they have that down pat.
I’ll just leave it this to ones own personal demons.
There are more important things to discuss.
Very disappointing. I hope the test kit issues are resolved quickly.
Inadvertent transmission. Sure precautions were taken, and it turned out successful. But had it infected one other person on US soil, that’s on Obama, and a threat to the population. Sorry, you won’t convince me it was worth it.
Uh huh, but you felt compelled to respond to my post.
By the weeks end there will be the capacity to test 10,000 people a day by the end of the second week there will be capacity for another 10,000. Or 20,000 a day in two weeks according to Scott Gottlieb former FDA director.
Fair enough.
I can’t help how much of that was relied on information from China…which wold have been a mistake on CDC part.
Not sure what you mean.
Test kits for the virus…how much of information did they relied on from China?
They lacked the facilities in africa IIRC.
But that’s not even the point.
The point is, Trump was telling the POTUS to hug Ebola patients…why do you think he suggested that?
I think whatever there was that was glitchy…has been rectified.
That is good news, but a little late IMO.
I have no doubt, but that might have prevented from getting a jump on this.
Even with those, keep them in quarantine over there. I see no reason to transport. In this case, it’s a couple of weeks inconvenience until symptoms subside.
Are you pissed off that Trump told teh POTUS to hug Ebola patients, making light and seemingly wishing a painful death on the POTUS?
Are you pissed that the CDC, under Trumps leadership, screwed up the test kits?
Are you pissed that Trump has either purposefully or through ignorance told the public things about this virus that weren’t true?
Or they could have just died in Africa with substandard care. Expendable right?
Sorry, can’t disagree with you more. If they’re going to die it should be on American soil with family near by.
