It’s as if you live in a world where facts don’t matter.

90% of drug traffic from Mexico is smuggled in through shipments at ports of entry.

Only 10% comes across the border via other means.

Still a smaller portion of that 10% comes through areas where there’s no physical barrier.

And even more than this? The fastest growing delivery route for drugs is MAIL ORDER direct from either China or US sources.

And the drugs that come in via mail order? They are ten times more potent than the stuff coming in from Mexico…FAR more harmful and deadly.

Yeah I agree…do something different.

But the different thing that needs to be done is something that actually…you know…PUTS A DENT IN THE PROBLEM.

A wall does NONE of that.

It addresses a minute fraction of drug trade.

It’ll take years to even come to pass so the miniscule portion of drug trade that it might effect will just shift elsewhere.

It addresses NOTHING. It starves NOTHING.

Do you really not see this?

Add to this that Trump plans to steal billions of dollars from the DOD’s drug interdiction program to try and fund this absurd non-solution. Which proves just how little he actually cares about the drug epidemic and how much more he cares about building a monument to himself. It’s a sad joke.
