Trump Tower meeting Russian lawyer admits she was paid informant to the Kremlin

Yea that’s why the Trump team lied about it for months

Not as common as it for scumbags to lie as they try to hide their sordid past.

AGAIN, he was elected IN SPITE of his “sordid” and very public past. You guys just don’t get why and never will.

Sure we do. The whole bit about family values an morality bit was nothing but an act

OUR family values do not keep us from voting for an effective leader who can PUSH our family values successfully.

You want to restrict us to boy scouts who cannot. Sorry to disappoint you. We’re not that dumb.

And it’s always a HOOT to listen to people tell us how we have somehow lost our family values when they never profess to have any family values to lose.

How BRAVE of you.

So you really think it’s normal for a candidate for President of the United States to pay for a non-disclosure agreement about screwing a porn star three days before an election. Let me repeat that: You really think it’s normal for a candidate for President of the United States to pay for a non-disclosure agreement about screwing a porn star three days before an election.

What feels “soiled” is having to read daily about the President of the United States screwing a porn star.

to give mark credit…he did the same with bush. He is just a massive partisan …People like him will never change. You can give him the same story with a dem and a repub. and somehow the repub will be different somehow.

Why?

Imagine if a candidate did business in, oh, say…South Korea…And there were rumors that she actually used did business with NK from time to time.

Her opposition would want to dig up dirt on that. And they would hire a South Korean to do it because…well, that would make sense.

What is so terrible about that?

There were rumors true did things with russians. So someone hired an expert on russians to find out. Big deal.

So if a Russian contacted them and said there was evidence that the other candidate was taking illegal money from the Russians, it would certainly make sense to at least meet and find out what they were really talking about?
I mean, so long as, if there wasn’t any real documentation they let it die there and didn’t go off and concoct some dossier that they couldn’t support.

No. It makes sense to inform the FBI, not play junior sleuth.

Sure. Just call up Strzok and Page. Not thanks.

No, it would make sense to notify the FBI or DOJ. Immediately.

Beat me to it.

Of course it would also make sense to find out if the whole thing was just BS before contacting anyone…which it turned out to be.

You have no clue whether or not the whole thing turned out to be anything other than what it was billed as from jump street. The changing stories from Trump Jr., no longer affords him the benefit of the doubt that he is telling the truth at all here. So it makes no sense to have someone reach out to you saying that the Russian government supports your father, wants to help him get elected, and has the means to do so, and you NOT take that direct to the FBI or DOJ. And we both know if the exact same scenario were reversed, you would be screaming foul from the rooftops.

You seem to assume a lot about what I really think, and how I am saying something different. So far, you have been batting zero.

It is not a hard assumption to make that you have fully bought in to the line Trump Jr. is selling. You stated as much in your post.

If what he said was not true, that still doesn’t give me the liberty to just make up worst case scenario of what happened and run with it. Well, I could do that, but wouldn’t expect anyone to buy it.
About all I could legitimately come up with is “I don’t believe what they said and have no idea what happened”…but don’t see that stated very often.
