Really? So if a foreign reporter does a story on a US election that I find favorable to my candidate - you know, like PRAISE for the positions of my candidate - or even a foreign LEADER praises the positions of my candidate, I CANNOT quote them according to you???

And since when is the way our candidates are viewed by foreign people and foreign governments NOT IMPORTANT to any American voter?

Information is NOT a thing of value in and of itself. If it was then anyone who ever quoted a foreign newspaper during a campaign would be in violation of the law and any foreign press reporter who ever released that information would be in jail.

You CANNOT make a law that contradicts the 1st Amendment. If you PAY for someone to write something for the campaign that is a thing of value - you know, like a dossier, for instance - or a campaign flyer or a speech. And if a foreigner does that for you then you are in trouble.

Collecting information for free is NOT a thing of value. It is free information that the 1st Amendment protects you to see and hear and most importantly, to disseminate as you wish. You cannot STOP IT, with laws - even campaign laws.

You have already been told this before. If you disagree then EXPLAIN why no foreign press reporter or foreign government dignitary is ever jailed for revealing “things of value” that a campaign can use any time they want to.

• Making any disbursement for an electioneering communication;

actually, i think they are worried. they’re aggressively defending him but they know that Trump has been a dirty businessman for decades. they know he’s cheated and lied and stolen. they know he pays hush money and gets in bed with whomever. they know he swims in NDAs.

my guess is they’re simply praying that Mueller doesn’t find the bad stuff he’s done. or that other investigations aren’t sparked by this one.

It’s common to pay for NDAs at ANY TIME. To try to say that it was somehow about the election is silly, given the kitchen sink that Trump had thrown at him all through the election which failed to stop him ever. You seriously believe that this allegation would have been THE ONE to stop Trump voters after all the other allegations?? Give me a break. The President called it EARLY when he said he would have to gun someone down in Manhattan to not get their votes.

As for CNN, what a SHAME that a once proud network has devolved into a scandal sheet of salacious and yellow journalism. I actually feel sorry for their people. How soiled they must feel to spend their days wallowing in the filth 24/7 with the porn star and her bankrupt lawyer.

Errr, he didn’t succumb to blackmail. He made an agreement for all parties to STOP talking about it as MANY corporations and individuals regularly do - regardless of the facts of a case. If he had succumbed to blackmail you would never have known about the story because Stormy would have gotten MORE to stay silent. As she didn’t get blackmail, she tried extortion, instead.

What we have here is a skank who is ALSO an extortionist with her BANKRUPT lawyer trying to pull anything out that he can. What a PAIR! They deserve each other.
