I would assert that your statement stands alone just fine. You are saying that Trump did everything he could to remove himself from decision-making control over his companies while he’s president. I disagree strongly, and the evidence is on my side.
Once again, my statement is meaningless taken out of context. Unless you are prepared to debate my complete argument, then we have nothing left to discuss.
Nonsense. Just claiming that people hate Trump isn’t an argument. As you said, his holdings are too big to divest, so his holdings are too big to be president.
Trump hating is very real. To pretend otherwise is disingenuous.
In regards to a successful billionaire, there is no reason to disqualify them from the Presidency. In this case, experts explained why Trump couldn’t successfully divest of all his holdings. He did the best with what he had. Reasonable people accept that; Trump haters don’t.
Of course it is, and I didn’t pretend it doesn’t exist. Talk about disingenuous. But just claiming that I hate Trump is not a legitimate rebuttal.
Yes, there is a reason, which you outlined. Billionaires must divest to become president. If they cannot, or will not, they shouldn’t become president. One of many reasons Trump should resign today.
Your argument holds no merit when you frame it as “extract revenge” and claim they are using congressional oversight as their methods for “revenge”. There is no proof, except opinions.
Realistically I hope he wins his case. If they can get his individual return, and not a “Report”, than anyone should be able to request anyone elses return under the freedom of information rule. It should be open for all without a court order or closed for all and only released with a court order.
Hmmmm. A “big ole gigantic glaring neon red flag” because someone wants to keep their private maters private and expects our Constitution’s protections to be observed?
Brush up on the Fourth Amendment, my friend.

This case? This case has nothing to do with request of his tax returns from the IRS. That case has far more precedence and he will face an uphill battle winning that case.
To be clear, you are a-okay with the President possibly loosening sanctions on countries where that country is invested in Trump property? All so Trump can make more money? You are okay that he is potentially putting himself and his companies ahead of the security interests of the United States?
