Trump’s comments mark the first time the president has openly and directly praised a violent act against a journalist on American soil

stop making excuses

Hey, we’re not talking about organized left wing violence by the left here. Start your own thread. We’re pretending a joke about someone bumping a reporter is a big deal.

The law does though.

Show respect and you will receive respect in 99.99 percent of the time.

stop making excuses for trash.

I’ve stop making excuses for most libs long time ago.

Weird that the body slammer was charged with a crime then, isn’t it? I mean, obviously he didn’t do anything wrong.

And that other guy should have just stayed out of the SA consulate, right?

If you watch, he was dressed pretty provocatively. That’s just asking for it.

Are you under the misguided impression that if the journalist was just an average joe asking a congressman questions, he could have legally been body slammed?

ah there it is…

Our laws can be screwed up.

Respect another man and you most likely gain respect yourself.

equating journalists with nazis, and equating asking questions in a airport or restaurant with body slams.

Idiotic post is idiotic.

Reporters need to get the mike close so they can get a decent recording.

Perhaps he got too close, that does not give anybody a reason to commit battery.

He was just a reporter trying to get the candidate on record.

the candidate in his own words.

“When you make a mistake, you have to take full responsibility,”

He manned up; admitted a mistake and made restitution.

Showing respect means following the law and not body slamming people.

Why don’t you demand that from the GOPer? Oh - asked and answered I suppose.

So, if someone pelts you with a D cell that would be battery with battery, not assault with battery like I always thought. Thanks.

What I see reporters demanding respect while showing none.

Hard to have any sympathy for em.

Early winter in here with all these snowflakes

He didn’t “bump” the reporter. He bodyslammed him to the ground then repeatably punched him in the face.
