Weird that the body slammer was charged with a crime then, isn’t it? I mean, obviously he didn’t do anything wrong.
And that other guy should have just stayed out of the SA consulate, right?
If you watch, he was dressed pretty provocatively. That’s just asking for it.

Are you under the misguided impression that if the journalist was just an average joe asking a congressman questions, he could have legally been body slammed?

Reporters need to get the mike close so they can get a decent recording.
Perhaps he got too close, that does not give anybody a reason to commit battery.

Showing respect means following the law and not body slamming people.
Why don’t you demand that from the GOPer? Oh - asked and answered I suppose.

He didn’t “bump” the reporter. He bodyslammed him to the ground then repeatably punched him in the face.
