To prevent criminals from easily entering my condo.
any other questions.
what does that have to do with criminals teaching someone a lesson?
my point stands
Criminals cant teach lessons.
Criminals are convicted or plead guilty or get away with it.
doesnt dismiss their criminal behavior.
Gianforte is a convicted criminal.

this is from Google…a left-wing search engine.
Assault does not necessarily involve a physical attack. Assault is any action that causes the other person to fear bodily harm. It can be a slap, a punch or a shove, but it can also be a verbal threat of violence, aggressive posturing (a raised fist, jabbing a finger) or yelling angrily in someone’s face .
As I said…Stay arms length away.
Is that concept to hard to understand?
assault is a the threat
battery is the deed.
Hence the charge of assault and battery.
Allan

Are you denying staying arms length away isn’t a good practice?
If you want respect…show respect.
When they shove microphone inches away from your face that’s disrespectful is it not?
i said he might have been able to push assault but i doubt it since it was the press and he is a public figure. Even IF he isnt arms length away, he shouldnt have body slammed him. He should resign and never enter politics again.
Stop making excuses for him

Hey, we’re not talking about organized left wing violence by the left here. Start your own thread. We’re pretending a joke about someone bumping a reporter is a big deal.

Weird that the body slammer was charged with a crime then, isn’t it? I mean, obviously he didn’t do anything wrong.

And that other guy should have just stayed out of the SA consulate, right?
If you watch, he was dressed pretty provocatively. That’s just asking for it.

Are journalist special?
Should they be treated differently?
Are they protected class of people?
Stay arm length away and nothing will happen…including your microphone unless he’s willing to speak into it.
It’s really not a hard concept to understand is it?
Are you under the misguided impression that if the journalist was just an average joe asking a congressman questions, he could have legally been body slammed?

Our laws can be screwed up.
Respect another man and you most likely gain respect yourself.

equating journalists with nazis, and equating asking questions in a airport or restaurant with body slams.
Idiotic post is idiotic.

Reporters need to get the mike close so they can get a decent recording.
Perhaps he got too close, that does not give anybody a reason to commit battery.
He was just a reporter trying to get the candidate on record.
the candidate in his own words.
“When you make a mistake, you have to take full responsibility,”
He manned up; admitted a mistake and made restitution.
