Be honest. Would your eagerness to excuse be the same if Trump had won in 2020 and those 600,000 had died under his term?

Eagerness to excuse what?

Addressing painstakingly dumb arguments like this makes me feel like Iāve wandered into a room with a bunch of toxic solvents and chemicals in the air. I can feel my IQ lowering with each word and moment I spend in its presence, and as I decline into dotage, I canāt afford to lose any more points.
And my IQ drops every time I have to listen to libs explain away their hypocrisy.

We didnāt forget.
Still a virus and Big Joey has killed twice as many as Trump.
By Dem standards.
With a vaccine.
Iām not comfortable calling it a vaccine.
Just one more thing that they lied about. And they even had to change the definition of vaccine in order to pass the lie off.
Itās really just a pre-illness therapeutic drug that generally reduces the severity of the illness when you are infected. And I say āwhenā because thatās where this is headed. Eventually, virtually everyone on earth will have been infected. Add it to the common cold as ājust part of living.ā
Mandates.
There are still mandates.
After the definition was manipulated.
It isnāt what we think of as a vaccine like polio or rubella.
The COVID one looks like it will be just like the flu.
Imagine that.

Itās not accurate and why we eschew the term.
The most commonly used flu shots protect no more than 60% of people who receive them; some years, effectiveness plunges to as low as 10%. Given that a bad flu season can kill 50,000 people in the United States alone, ā10% to 60% protection is better than nothing,ā says Michael Osterholm, an epidemiologist at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. āBut itās a terribly inadequate vaccine for a serious public health threat.ā

I think itās possible that the Covid āvaccineā may protect 10% or more people from the illness and probably double that from showing significant symptoms when they are infected. Purely guess work ā¦ I have no data to back that up.
All those closures and mitigations were ineffectual.
Sure.
For elderly and comorbides it will be great.
Just like the flu.

Donāt play dumb. Bidenās culpability in 600,000 deaths.

I donāt think thatās true Conan. That would make you a vegetable by now.

Gotta keep the sheeple content ā¦
The Russia Collusion Hoax, the COVID is Trumpās Fault Hoax, and now the Insurrection Hoax. And then they accuse conservatives of making up conspiracies.

Where have I excused any of that?

Ultimately, yes, but they did slow the rate of spread. That was a good thing. However, now that the virus is ubiquitous, those measures are pretty much just for show for people who still think the government knows what itās doing.

Hey it could be worse at least itās not the flu
There it is.
How well did that age?
Like a fine highly mutating wine.

emember how Trumpās team spent months telling us that Joe Biden is too week and unhealthy to be Presidentā¦
Why yesā¦Yes I do remember.

This will hurt him politically. Heās spent the last 7 months downplaying a virus that he just contracted. It further questions his administrations response to the the pandemic. Some voters might be sympathetic, but I think a vast majority will see this as a sign of weakness and honestly, karma.
Pure political gold.
The worm has turned.
It always does.
Skynluv was correct.
Trump caught COVID in 2020 about a month before a presidential election after downplaying it, before a vaccine existed, etc. among innumerable other different factors two years later. Getting COVIDāwell on its way to becoming endemicādoesnāt mean the same thing, have the same implications that it did two years ago, etc. So the coverage is different.

tl;dr:
Weāve been trolled by Covid-19. It mutated to a form similar to what the right characterized it from the beginning. Weāve always been at war with Omicron.

The WH is literally toxic.
How do we like it now?
