It’s really just a pre-illness therapeutic drug that generally reduces the severity of the illness when you are infected. And I say “when” because that’s where this is headed. Eventually, virtually everyone on earth will have been infected. Add it to the common cold as “just part of living.”

I think it’s possible that the Covid “vaccine” may protect 10% or more people from the illness and probably double that from showing significant symptoms when they are infected. Purely guess work … I have no data to back that up.

Ultimately, yes, but they did slow the rate of spread. That was a good thing. However, now that the virus is ubiquitous, those measures are pretty much just for show for people who still think the government knows what it’s doing.

This will hurt him politically. He’s spent the last 7 months downplaying a virus that he just contracted. It further questions his administrations response to the the pandemic. Some voters might be sympathetic, but I think a vast majority will see this as a sign of weakness and honestly, karma.

2. Trump caught COVID in 2020 about a month before a presidential election after downplaying it, before a vaccine existed, etc. among innumerable other different factors two years later. Getting COVID—well on its way to becoming endemic—doesn’t mean the same thing, have the same implications that it did two years ago, etc. So the coverage is different.
