Turkey hates the Kurdish separatists within Turkey.
If they do go on the offensive against the Kurds in Syria we should step in immediately and stop them. If Trump doesn’t, it’s going to have very long term negative effects and it will be a stain on his presidency that can never be removed.

You are wrong about Trump wanting out of the region. Trump wants out of Syria, not out of the region. Look at map and you will notice that Israel is a neighbor to Israel and Trump has no intention of abandoning Israel, or at least his buddy Netanyahu.
Trump has wanted to get us out of Syria for his entire Presidency, this is one of Vladimir Putin’s policy aims that Trump strong favors.
