The precedent the GOP is setting

Where is Mulvaney these days? I have this feeling he’s in a tiny windowless office near the boiler room of the White House and he’s not even allowed to have a phone until Trump is “exonerated”.

WOW, is this opposite day or what?

You mean the “never Trumper” who gave Trump’s election campaign $1 million?
:man_facepalming:

Lol, just think of what he would have given Trump if he was for him.

Everyone is lying instead of Trump. Trump will tell us what the Truth is. Trump Truth is different…and better…than RealTruth.

The heck there isn’t.
But its good to see that you concede that the NRA would get a court order which the President must follow. This is very different from the House of today where policy differences are met immediately with impeachment instead of going the legal route provided by the Constitution.

Ha ha ha!

The president pressured a foreign government to investigate his main political opponent, secretly sent his personal attorney and henchmen to help, and held back hundreds of millions in congressional military money to accomplish his mission.

That ain’t no policy difference.

As bad as Dershowitz’s argument is (btw already a thread on that) you clearly didn’t read them. He stated that doing this for personal financial gain would in fact be impeachable.

Yes, it really is.
But that isn’t the only instances. When Trump claimed a separation of powers issue regarding discovery and subpoenas, the House immediately went to impeachment rather than the Constitutionally provided legal route, as has traditionally been used.

Oh…and none of this was secret.

nope. shokin was in office less than a year. There is no evidence and has never been any allegation that he personally took any bribes that I know of. It was reported that he was not investigating things, and that he was not rooting out corrupt prosecutors under him. he says he was. There are 3 prosecutors in this string. The one before Shokin (yertzin or something like that), Shokin who was in office for just one year, and Leshanko.

Nope

If president Bernie Sanders secretly pressured Israel to investigate Kushner and Trump, sent his personal attorney and some henchmen to help do it, and held back hundreds of millions of dollars of Congressional military aid to do it…you’d lose your mind. Stop with the games.

Ha ha…thats why the phone call transcript was put in the extra super secret safe right?

Don’t expect this to put an end to it. What you say is true but they have heard that a dozen times. Then they see something in some lefty website and we hear it all again.

Ha ha…half the people in Washington knew about that phone call.
And eventually half the foreign service in Ukraine.

and?

not his campaign, the inaugural committee

Forget the secret part, that didn’t happen. And millions in tax dollars were spent investigating Trump including sending to foreign countries for information.
This didn’t happen in a vacuum.
Democrats have been investigating for political reasons for three years and now, when its one of theirs, they want it to be impeachable.

What if President Klobuchar says her personal financial gain is in the country’s best interest? What if she says personal financial gain is just a side effect of policies that will benefit the country?

Maybe an investigation in Ukraine would get to the truth. Oops. If forgot, that would be impeachable.

Strangely the public didn’t know though. Until a whistleblower forced them to release it. Very transparent.

Yeah it did. Literally the WB forced the phone call’s release.
