Do they really? All the way to DC.
And are you sure Texas law doesn’t require purveyors of alcohol to check IDs?

How do you know that?

Yes.
Learn about the laws and penalties related to presenting a government-issued ID to verify a person is 21 and can buy alcohol or cigarettes in Texas.
How do you know that?
Because, as pointed out by the “sleuths” at Zero Hedge, they had it on the bus to the airport.
But since store clerks, wait staff and bartenders can be criminally liable for selling alcohol to a minor,
Hence, “nifty”.

Touché.
Remember…fraud only occurs when Democrats win.

Apparently there are major issues with voting fraud in Texas. All Texas elections should be suspect at this point.
thinkingman: Sknyluv: thinkingman:what we think about this is that they are total cowards, as is typical for soul-less democrats. and boy isnt it amazing how hard they are fighting against keeping elections safe and secure
How is what Texas is doing “keeping elections safe and secure”?
oh by making it harder to commit voter fraud, making them more secure
some ways are by cutting down on lengtb of early voting time, no drive-thru ballots, better regulation of polling places and mail votes, better paper trail, etc
Voter fraud is an issue in Texas?
I’m fine with making voting more secure, but I’m not sure how limiting voting accomplishes that.
limiting voting would not accomplish that good point
thinkingman: Sknyluv: Camp:Our system requires the minority party to be forward thinking, not undermining the process.
From your lips to McConnell’s ears.
oh so what mcConnell does is approved of now
Are you saying you didn’t approve of what McConnell did?
no i am not
not that i do

With no evidence of widespread voting fraud to cite, Republicans are shifting their argument to insist that new voting restrictions are needed to forestall even isolated instances of ineligible voters casting ballots.
So it will be interesting to see how many of these cases will be successfully prosecuted.

Few Texans believe voting fraud is common, UT/TT poll shows | The Texas Tribune

Didn’t Paxton try to get involved in other states’ business - suing PA (among others). Maybe he can take that urge to prosecute to help PA out and prosecute the guy who cast his dead mother’s vote for trump. - Looks like a slam dunk

How often do you get carded?
I’m in my mid-thirties, and I’ve probably been carded for alcohol maybe a hundred times between my 17th birthday and today.
And I drink quite a bit.

Early 40’s and I get carded EVERY time. I’m very thankful for my genes.

Me too. I was 6’5 and had (almost) a full beard at 17.
But that’s not the point. Getting carded for alcohol isn’t part of the law - and pretty much anyone who wants to can get alcohol without an ID. It’s just a matter of finding the right store.
Why not stay and vote against it? Get on the podium and lay out why they think it’s bad?
This is pathetic.
