A true win win, you good!
It’s almost as if the NFL is made up of a diverse group of people with different beliefs and political opinions.
Oh. Is that the excuse for the “black national anthem “?
Seeing life through a purely political lens how exhausting.
Let’s not derail this thread we got plenty others on all things “woke”
Zippy you got the Niners to root for, enjoy the game!

It’s not an “excuse” for anything, it’s a fact. Some NFL players support playing the Black National Anthem, others don’t. See how that works?
Somehow the 49ers are slightly favored to win, but I don’t see that happening.
I can’t count them out at this point as much as I find Niners fans to be insufferable.
I was getting ready for the tears twice and they yanked it back.

I’m not counting them out either. Football is fun because it’s unpredictable, but my money is on KC. They have the experience and the quarterback, and the 49ers defense got shredded by the Packers and Lions. KC 27, San Francisco 17

Obviously I’m into discussing politics…or I wouldn’t be here. But I’ll never get those that see everything as political. Won’t shop here, wont listen to this artist etc, etc…hell of a way to go through ones day.
That being said…C’mon CHIEFS!!! Told my buddies, if KC wins IN Baltimore, we’re going to win the bowl.
They have the experience and the quarterback,
Yea…I’m thinking Purdy won’t handle the pressure of the Superbowl.
my money is on KC
Same… literally. Four weeks ago the odds were 10-1 that KC would win the Super Bowl. I had to take that.

Yeah, nice bet. Good luck.
GWH:49ers came into that game the better team. In the second half, they showed them.
Should be a good matchup. I don’t think the 49ers are explosive enough to outpace KC. KC wins in a squeaker.
Had the Lions kicked and made that FG making it 27-10, I believe they win that game. All that misfortune following the dumb decision to go for it came after that dumb decision. When you give a team hope and momentum, you change the entire complexion of the game.
Coach Campbell had one job. Status quo. Let the 49ers know that halfway through the 3rd they gained no ground. He singlehandedly changed all of that.
I think we saw more 4th down-plays during the playoffs than we did for the entire season. Personally, I would like to see more of that risk taking in the NFL.
Playoff games aren’t the place to be ■■■■■■■ with odds. All the teams bring their A game in the playoffs and know how to exploit weaknesses. In sports the team with the most points always wins.
I disagree. The playoffs are exactly the time to take risks and make big moves. Both SF and KC are in the super bowl because of their willingness to take the risk against the odds.

They over performed getting into the playoffs in the first place. ■■■■ the Cinderella story they were painting with Detroit. Stafford would have gotten them a ring, anyways.
Yep. They should be proud in spite of blowing that lead. It’s Baltimore who should be (and probably are) sucking on lemons.
JayJay:Rooting for the Chiefs only because I want to see the incleish right winger heads explode when Taylor Swift gets even more airtime.
Huh,
I would expect leftists to root for San Fransissyco.
Truthfully, probably won’t even watch.
NFL lost me with the whole kneeling and “black natioal anthem “ idiocy.
That’s why my sentiment is with SF … they got rid of Kaepernick.
Zippy: Here's to feeling good all the time. :One of SF 49ers stars is Nick Bosa, a Trump favorite who criticized Kaepernick.
Ah.
Oh and I forgot the SF QB is a Christian.
That’s enough to keep them from rooting for SF
that’s right, Brock Purdy appears to be quite pious.
And their running back Christian McCaffrey has a foundation that raises money for military veterans and their families.
I just looked it up … it’s estimated that 35-40% of NFL players are evangelical Christians as compared to 25% of the population at-large.

That’s pretty much what they have been saying about him all season.

There’s risk, and there’s stupid. It’s stupid when it isn’t necessary. Sometimes the benefit of a TD over a FG isn’t that much. Or isn’t worth the risk. This was one of those cases.

They lost the momentum after that first fourth down call. Crowd got back into the game. That was bad.
That’s pretty much what they have been saying about him all season.
Purdy is an average quarterback on a really good team. It would be kind of cool to see Mr. Irrelevant win the Super Bowl, though.
