Should police be allowed to use deadly force against laser attacks?

I couldn’t care less about the culprits nor do I think they are as ignorant as you would portray them to be.

If a person uses a laser capable of blinding a person for life then I personally don’t care if they find themselves in the morgue.

Perhaps that will give others a clue or … not.

Opening up with a pistol into a crowd of protesters seems like a fantastic idea.

An appropriate level of non-lethal force.

Serious enough to shoot into a crowd of people?

OK then we agree, still better than firing bullets into s crowd.

Is that what’s happening? Are peoples’ eyes being physically poked out?

Yes, the same way a Flashlight is a physical object.

Who said anything about firing into crowds?

If Republican think this ■■■■ is bad now just wait till they start using live rounds.

The OP.

You are being rather cavalier about other people’s sight, don’t you think?

The OP.

That is a problem, but this changes the paradigm if you ask me.

Shoot more rubber bullets.
If you think stuff is bad now it would be 1000x worse if they used live rounds.

The only way to cause blindness with a flashlight though is to hit someone in the eye with it. Lasers, on the other hand, can do the job from many yards away.

Would you want me to stop somebody from blinding you or not?

It’s going to get much worse if those cops are actually blinded.

Shoot them with rubber bullets.
no one is suggesting otherwise.

I gave the option of looking in literally any other direction, right?

No they did not. The exact statement was:

“Should police and federal agents be allowed to use deadly force against laser attacks that can result in permanent blindness?”
