I remember people calling those of us concerned about this a few years ago crazy or at best a right wing conspiracy that groups like BLM and Antifa would come after the founding father statues (Already Happening) after the confederacy as well as possible Mt. Rushmore, and here we are.

They won’t but the moderates in the democratic party need to put a muzzle on them while they can before they take the democratic party for themselves, they are getting closer each election and with no grown ups in the room more emboldened.

The New York Times building stands on property stolen from the Lenape Indians. I say give it back.

that only lasted until gold was discovered in the 1870’s and the US took the mountain back in 1876
the sioux still consider the black hills sacred ground
the sculptor was a kkk member

Hell no, besides being national monument it’s a magnificent work of both engineering and art.

so if someone where to take your land,and build a great piece of art on it they should be entitled to keep it? what the difference. the tribes have been fighting for the land since before the monument was built

why not let the people on whose land it sits have a say? theres no dispute the land was stolen. its not on privately owned land so there is nothing preventing the government returning the land to its rightful owners
