But we felt we had an obligation to do that. It could have been as many as 42. And we found that we were — it was just an obligation we felt that we had. We could have left them, and that would have been very bad — very bad, I think — of American people. And they’re recovering.

Again that is a total different part of the press conference. He gave the mic up to Pence and Azar and came back to answer a question. Yes the completely different statement was about the 15 infected but it had nothing to do with the statement in question

He never said those 15 were going to be the end of it.
He did say it would go from 15 to close to zero though. We instead rocketed to the most cases in the entire world.

You just quoted another lie by Trump. At the time he said the number of cases was increasing, and as we are painfully aware, continued to increase.

Those are facts. I watch the press conferences myself and then watch the press reporting later and the press coverage doesn’t even begin to match what he actually said more times than not.
That’s how i know they are lying propagandists.
