What about? What about? What about? Find another excuse. That is not an argument.
God save us from Freshman Comp 101 and people who’s understanding of fallacies stops at zero tolerance.
You’re going to need a bigger Twister mat.
Or the little historical detail that black people were not called doves, eagles, and lions with the goal of dehumanizing them to justify slavery.
But he’s got his Noah’s ark of rhetorical questions to unload, as well as a free afternoon, so let’s all get Ish’d.
First off, why don’t you tell the class the negative connotation that has EVER existed with being compared to a lion. Let me just remind you that Richard the Lionhearted was NEVER meant to be a slight in any fashion. The only potential negative connotation would be calling someone a cowardly lion, but even then its not the lion part that is negative, its the cowardly part. Even with that particular “insult” one is being given credit for being normally braver than the action they have taken would usually merit.
Secondly, explain how you can so easily dismiss that blacks have historically been called monkeys or apes, and even worse, outright animals
like a lion.
thanks for proving my point.
And the trolling continues.
No, not like a lion. Just plain animals. Not some paragon of power and righteousness. Just animals, in the denigrating way.
Your point wasn’t proven for ■■■■■■■ either one of us, for the record.
Heres one for ya…
If what you say is correct, why didn’t the author of the book you chose to use as some sort of proof of concept instead name it The Last Animal… I mean, if every reference to animals is to be taken in the best way and all.
I already know what your answer is going to be, and I’ll call it the ■■■■■■■■ dodge that it is.
well maybe when Hillary said young black men were superpredator, she meant like a lion.
Hillary lost bro, get over it.
Chucking up that ■■■■■■■■ canard again, are you?
She didn’t call black men superpredators…she called members of large gangs and drug cartels superpredators. Hell, if you read the comment in context, there is never any mention of race to begin with.
Keep trying though…maybe one day it will actually make sense to ya.
Is it really that hard for people to call racist ■■■■■■■■ racist ■■■■■■■■ and move on?
Why the constant need to poo poo it like its somehow better than it really is?
It’s called trolling.
yes bro, you lost.
But you are still here
Bro, I’m not a Hillary supporter. Get over it.
There is so little racism in the US today, you have to find some obscure reference to an old movie and some Iranian born socialist - the target of the reference to planet of the apes.
yes you are.
Stop trolling. To genuinely be as stupid as this post suggests, you’d have drowned long ago looking up in a thunderstorm.
every kind of person has been called or compared to an ape or monkey.
black people dont have a monopoly on that.
But by God, libs are the most sensitive about it… like they have just been caught on camera on some act… an act of thinking the same
