Roseanne Barr going racist

#64

Just like Trump right?

#65

“I think we would be so lucky if Trump won. Because then it wouldn’t be Hillary.”

From an interview dated June 7, 2016

The President of the United States makes asinine remarks on Twitter almost daily and people like yourself can be counted on to respond with how “cool” you think he is. Key figures in conservative America routinely make abhorrent, racist, homophobic remarks and are met with almost no real world consequences.

Again, there was no real expectation this was going to lead to a highly rated show being cancelled.

#67

No, Trump never says anything like this. This is from Hollywood, not the Trump campaign.

#68

You are correct.

#69

After running out of any decent pretense of collusion, Trump haters are now making arguments like:

Someone shot someone somewhere.

Volcano goes off in Indonisia.

Trump.

The show was popular with viewers, got high ratings, and, well, loose lips sink ships.

She was asked by network executives to focus on her show and less on political comments on social media, and she blew it.

Does this call for Queen’s Another One Bites The Dust?

Roseanne has a long history of saying and doing controversial and hateful things.

For example, she said everyone who eats at Chik Fil A deserves cancer. Then there is a picture of her dressed as Hitler with a pan full of cookies out of the oven. Plus she’s promoted insane conspiracy theories such as pizza gate.

I feel sorry for the rest of the cast as well as the production crew, who are now out of work through no fault of their own. I enjoyed seeing Sarah Gilbert and John Goodman again.

Plus her show was one of the few I watched as it was an honest depiction of middle class America.

Roseanne got what she deserved, too bad for the rest of us.

#72

Comparing a black woman to an ape is not racist?

#73

You forgot to add “racist things”

#74

If it wasn’t on purpose, or a wag the dog to define Trump supporters, then drinking and tweeting is a poor past time for a public person…

#75

“He’s a Mexican,” Trump told CNN of Curiel. “We’re building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings — rulings that people can’t even believe.”

Refused to rent to black folks until he was sued twice by the department of justice.

“Maybe [the protester] should have been roughed up,” he mused. “It was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.”

The list goes on and on.

#76

And Christopher Lloyd even made an appearance on her show.

#77

ABC has an episode (a repeat) scheduled for tonight. Will be interesting to see if it airs or if they scramble to find a last minute replacement.

"On September 19, 2011, she appeared at the Occupy Wall Street protests and spoke in support of the protestors.[73] She further stated that any “guilty” Wall Street bankers should be forced to give up any income over $100 million, be sent to re-education camps, or be executed by beheading if they resisted.[74]

Barr filed with the Federal Election Commission as a Green Party presidential candidate in January 2012. She formally announced her candidacy for the party’s 2012 presidential nomination on February 2, 2012.[75][76][77][78]

On July 14, 2012, Barr came in second,[3] losing the nomination to Jill Stein.[3] Stein chose Cheri Honkala as her running-mate[79] despite suggestions that she could choose Barr.[80]

Barr was given a prime speaking role at the Green Party National Convention in Baltimore, Maryland, but decided to instead send a surrogate, (Farheen Hakeem), to speak on her behalf.

Barr’s surrogate reportedly chided the party for not respecting Barr’s candidacy. A shouting match in a hallway reportedly ensued.[81]

Barr repeatedly criticized Jill Stein after losing the Green Party nomination,[82][83][84] and caused controversy by using alleged transphobic words in statements about Stein on Twitter.[85]

Shortly after losing the Green Party nomination, Barr announced that she would run on the Peace and Freedom Party ticket with activist Cindy Sheehan as her running mate.[86]

Green Party Black Caucus
National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws
Cynthia McKinney, 2008 Green Party nominee[96]

On August 4, 2012, Barr won the presidential nomination of the Peace and Freedom Party.[4][87]"

You guys are pathetic. You can’t tell the difference between a character and an actor.
Robert Duval, btw, was not dictator of the Soviet Union.

Please, run these things through your head a couple of times before hitting “reply.”

If they still make sense, then consider turning your radio to some music instead of talk, or changing your channel from Fox, and removing Drudge as your internet home page.

#80

That’s not because they are Mexican. It’s becasue of illegal crossings, gangs and drugs…

What list?. You don’t even have a link to show context…

Norman Lear also poked fun at liberals.

I remember the episode when Meathead and archie were take hostage by a couple of black robbers.

LOL. Cleavon Little to Demond Wilson: What we have here is a genuine “bleeding heart” liberal after meathead states his empathy about the plight of black people and proceeds to point the gun right at meathead.

You might be better at telling the difference because you have had far more practice with interpretation of whether a tweet or comment is the real Trump or the TV personality Trump or the Trump from the 2000’s, or from the 90’s
