Rep. Kathy Castor (D - USSR) Pressures Google, Youtube to Censor Opposing Viewpoints

beside the point, of course

Having to edit or leave out parts the sentence to make it say something else is where the denial lies.

The left likes the restriction of what is allowed on google or you tube as long as it is their narrative being supported by doing so.

Ah. What is allowed.

Here we go again.

No one has a right to use someone else’s private platform.

Google is free to do as they wish.

something that would otherwise be there, but was requested “urged” to be removed by govmnt

videos - recommended by algo doesnt matter

she wants them gone because she doesnt agree with them

govmnt is urging platforms to control info to their liking

A Congresswoman is suggesting that Google not reward and promote disinformation.

Treat nonsense like nonsense.

You would change your tune quickly if they censured your positions.

The videos are not being removed.

for those who are afraid to see how much democrats hate the free exchange of ideas in the letter pdf, avert your eyes:

No… I wouldn’t.

I just wouldn’t use their free service.

So you get to decide what is nonsense or not?

What happened to free speech in this country?

Free speech is not effected.

No one has the right to use someone else’s private platform.

“disinformation”

ie…

“things i disagree with”

Yes… like Flat Earth, Sandy Hook Conspiracies and Anti Vaccine nonsense.

Disinformation.

I use someone else sometimes when google doesn’t show what i am looking for.

They are already censuring actually.

Then don’t use them.

Easy Peasy.

That sounds like you are advocating that the government should restrict private businesses’ ability to expand? Whatever happened to the precept of private enterprise and capitalism?
