there is a correlation. moore didnt state that was caused by high drivers because that was outside the scope of the research
there is a strong correlation, given Co had the highest increase and had it legal the longest in contrast to other states where it was legal but for not as long
unless you got a way to show the increase was definitively not caused by rec pot influence, you’re nothing but shutters trying to bang out your narrative in the wind, as usual
No link to what? All I did was cite your article, and it doesn’t state what you claim it does.
Good question. The study you cited in the CNBC article does not prove causation. As I already ask, do correlation/causation need to be explained to you?
I asked for you to cite someone who doesn’t believe their driving is impaired while high. You replied with “I do.” and that you were the source. That leads one to believe you are a pothead leftie (aka "libertarian) who doesn’t believe that driving high impairs you.
So, can you cite people who don’t believe that driving high impairs you?
If something as seemingly benign as vaping can cause such health issues so quickly it is a certainty that THC will be found to have a negative health impact.
The only question is how significant will it be.
It will impair judgement leading to accidents like has been presented.
It may lead to more serious medical consequences.
Could be that those are worth using it to help with cancer treatments.
Could be a different scenario if using to cope with back pain.
I would like to see more medical uses and less recreational advocacy until we have a couple decades to study this.
I asked to back up the claim by citing anyone who believes that driving high doesn’t impair you.
You said “I do.”
Then you tried to play cute word games about it, so I asked the question directly, and here you are parsing the conversation, with a little dash of snark (and hey, I don’t mind snark-just pointing it out).
And then I asked again if you could cite people who don’t believe driving high impairs you.
And then you continued to deflect and parse more.
So here we are, again. Easy question, since you made a claim:
So, can you cite people who don’t believe that driving high impairs you?
so anyway, here’s a little more on pot and driving:
“Marijuana significantly impairs judgment, motor coordination, and reaction time, and studies have found a direct relationship between blood THC concentration and impaired driving ability.”
do dee do dee do…
oh look:
“Marijuana is the illicit drug most frequently found in the blood of drivers who have been involved in vehicle crashes, including fatal ones“
ho hum…
oh geeze, look:
“Two large European studies found that drivers with THC in their blood were roughly twice as likely to be culpable for a fatal crash than drivers who had not used drugs or alcohol“
these are all referenced btw. here, in another “random” “fringe” publication:
making pot widely avail and legal is a menace to society, based on how it will affect driving alone
