That is not a good thing to hope for…considering what followed.
Then again, maybe you are right.
Many things are different between then and now. America prospering is a good thing

How about GDP?
With multiplier or without? 9 cents?
Well, there’s nothing wrong when Joe does it.
Now that the trade war is coming to a close let’s look at it and discuss a year from now.

Only nine? Isn’t there a plan to expand it?
Not one that is viable or likely to be attempted. Just democrats whining and trolling.
The last time it was attempted they fortunately realized how damaging it would be to the country in the long run and dropped it.
Unfortunately they probably aren’t that bright anymore.

Yes, you should try paying attention to the news.
The Chinese caved and resumed soybean and grain imports without tariffs in October.

Instead of insulting posters, why not post some articles to back up your claims.
I already have in several threads some of which you were participating in.
It’s your job to inform yourself, not for others to play fetch and feed it to you.
Late last week, Wall Street Journal writers Grace Zhu, Eva Dou and Bob Davis reported that, “China’s trade negotiations with the U.S. remain on track, Beijing said, offering official reassurance after tensions flared
Chinese soybean buyers who have obtained a tariff exemption began another round of buying late Monday, purchasing around 18 cargoes of soybeans from the US Pacific Northwest, or about 1 million mt, tr
Until the U. S.-China trade war really started to take hold in the summer of 2018, China had been purchasing more than half of all U. S. soybean exports and was a fast-growing buyer of one of the United States’ fastest-growing exports, oil.
From your article:
The Journal article pointed out that, “During the past few days, though, officials in the U.S. have become less optimistic about a deal. The two nations remain at odds over the value of U.S. farm goods Beijing would buy , with President Trump looking for $40 billion to $50 billion a year within two years .
Less optimistic about a deal.
No where close to your claim that the war is “coming to a close.”

From the link:
The Chinese government is literally shaking in their boots about the prospect of MORE tariffs being placed on their goods. There’s no way they would risk invoking the wrath of Trump. President Trump looking for $40 billion to $50 billion a year of U.S. farm goods Beijing would buy within two years. This is not unreasonable, and I’m sure Beijing is going to give in any day now.
That was December 9th and that doubt has been eliminated as they worked out details in the last month.
Trump is now planning a Signing Ceremony with Xi.
They already have, they grain sales resumed in October.
They had better get this impeachment done. The clown car of democratic nit wits is looking pretty hopeless.

I think that Bloomberg can defeat Trump with all of that money he has.
