Predictions on the border Trump vs Biden

Clearly he’s trolling as nobody who has a modicum of common sense could make such a delusional comment.

Encounters…. What does that mean?

What part of my post was false?

The border was never secure under Biden.

Biden allowed an exponential increase in asylum claims. But that doesn’t mean the border wasn’t secure. It’s possible the vetting was piss poor.. if it was… I’d say that isn’t secure.

What does encounters mean in the context of the border?

Spin it anyway you like, but the border was never secure under Biden.

Guess it comes down to how you define “secure”.

What do encounters mean?

I don’t play those games. Google it for yourself. Then if you have something you would like to discuss, feel free to make an argument.

Continuing to ask the same question repeatedly, will get you nowhere. But if you prefer to waste your time doing so, don’t let me stand in your way.

That means that the individuals were contacted by the border patrol after they crossed illegally into the country. And upwards of 80% of those encounters were voluntary.

If the border was secure, there would be no encounters.

This picture shows how secure Biden’s border was. Hundreds of similar photos can be found with a five second search.

Uh what? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

There was little to no vetting of all the phony asylum seekers showing up at the border and consequently mass paroled into the country by the Harris/Biden Administration:

Do I take what Tom Homan says or PurpnGold?

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2025/04/28/border_czar_tom_homan_biden_was_the_first_president_to_unsecure_the_border_on_purpose.html

TOM HOMAN: I started in Border Patrol in 1984. I’ve been at this for over 40 years and have worked for six presidents, starting with Ronald Reagan. Every president I worked for took border security seriously because you can’t have national security if you don’t have strong border security. You can’t know who’s coming in and what’s coming in, right? Even President Obama and President Clinton took some steps to secure the border because national security was important.

Joe Biden is the first president in the history of this nation who came into office and unsecured the border on purpose. That’s just a fact. We handed the Biden administration, after President Trump’s first administration, the most secure border in my lifetime, and they unsecured it on purpose.

Now, President Trump and this administration here, it’s a success, it’s unprecedented. We’ve beat the Trump administration’s first-term border success. Border numbers are at a historic low. Today, we have the most secure border in the history of this nation, and the numbers prove it. President Trump’s policies are saving lives every day.

“An “encounter” generally refers to a meeting, especially one that is unplanned or unexpected. “

Depends on if you are a lib or not.

One of the things in this whole border question that cannot be settled is how many people still cross into the country over unsecured parts of the border.

And until we get a wall across it all, that will not change. But at least we don’t have a DHS that orders barriers removed, and cutting razor wire to help illegals cross (were those all counted as “encounters”, I wonder?), and giving fist bumps as people make it through. Maybe there’s more border patrols checking those open areas now. (Didn’t Trump start using the Army for some of that?)

I’m sure Homan won’t allow this:

Regarding the border if I recall correctly an “encounter” is someone who comes in physical or visual contact with CBP. These are not necessarily the people who are allowed into the country. Tom Homan I believe mentioned that last month there were somwhere around 300 encounters but only about ten were allowed in. For most of Biden’s Presidency there were 200,000-300,000 encounters per month and roughly 90% were capriciously paroled into the country.

And that’s the Brandon Administration’s definition of “secure”. All out resident libs here rely on that definition.

We seen the Brandon definition of the borders are secured what’s the problem

I still wish the administration would start the deportations in way greater numbers. Before the loons get back in.

You heard me.

It’s not rocket science. If they never come across the border, ICE will never encounter them.

You have to be IN THE US to claim asylum at the border . That is an “encounter”
