Police Murdering Blacks, can we put this to rest now?

No, simply being scared is not a legal justification whether you’re a civilian or a cop.

Reasonable fear of imminent death or grave bodily harm is the bar.

His own health and the fact he chose to resist are why he’s dead, he was a walking stroke/heart attack waiting to happen.

There’s no evidence the choke had anything to do with his death.

The man had nearly 200lbs on the officer and decided to fight.

There’s no evidence the choke had anything to do with his death.

The struggle and his own physical condition are what killed him.

That’s got to be the dumbest statement I’ve ever seen made on the subject.

How exactly does that change anything? The question was about whether they were omitting violent crimes at the time they were killed. Assaulting a cop or anyone else unlawfully is always a crime.

He was breathing the whole time until he had a heart attack and died.

If you can speak, scream, yell etc your airway is open.

You’re getting closer to what actually killed him, it was the struggle and the dog pile.

What do you mean “civil oversight”?

I think he’s referring to the idiot civilian oversight committees that love to try and dictated law enforcement procedures and review their cases.

stran·gle

/ˈstraNGɡəl/

verb

  1. squeeze or constrict the neck of (a person or animal),

Eric Garner was most certainly being strangled, by the very definition of the word. And there was also a dog pile of other cops on top of him.

And that man is no longer alive as a result of having his breathing constricted.

He died because of the attack from officer Pantaleo and co.

Both of which were a result of an overzealous cop who had a terrible history of abusing his power as a cop.

Pantaleo shouldn’t be a cop, just like Zimmerman shouldn’t have been a wannabe cop patrolling neighborhoods.

There was no reason to apprehend Garner. He was not committing any crime at the time. And even if he were, it’s a really ■■■■■■ up justice system that would put someone in jail for…GASP…selling cigarettes on the street.

Tossing people in jail for non-violent crimes really needs to be reevaluated. We put too many people in prison. We put the wrong people in prison.

choke

[chōk]

1. to interrupt respiration by obstruction or compression; called also strangle.

2. the condition resulting from such interruption; called also strangulation.

stran·gle

(strang’gĕl),

To suffocate; to choke; to compress the trachea so as to prevent sufficient passage of air.

[G. strangaloō, to choke, fr. strangalē, a halter]

He died of a heart attack due to the struggle and dog pile.

If he hadn’t decided to put up a fight he would not have died that day, he’d have just been booked, make his appearance and be fined.

He dictated the terms of what happens that day and how.

Did the police handle it properly? No, but he wasn’t strangled or choked to death.

Why you so afraid to use the word chokehold?

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The New York City medical examiner who conducted an autopsy on an unarmed black man who was killed during a 2014 arrest said at a hearing on Wednesday that a police officer’s chokehold set off a “lethal cascade” of events that ended in the man’s death…

…The department has banned officers from using chokeholds for decades, saying the maneuver is too risky.

…Using a green laser pointer, Persechino explained that the autopsy photographs showed a band of ruptured blood vessels in the muscles in the front of Garner’s neck, and said they were caused by pressure from Pantaleo’s forearm.

But ya he had it coming for selling loosies.

Give it time they will find something else to cling to. I watched some youtube interviews about Trudeau by a news agency in Montreal over the blackface pictures that recently surfaced. Most of the minorities who they asked how they felt didn’t even care, or at the most would say “Well that was a long time ago”. The white knights on the other hand interviewed were was visibly triggered saying all kinds of social justice nonsense buzzwords with a look of bewilderment that behavior could come from their side.

Oh ■■■■■■■■■

According to multiple medical examiners’ reports, the primary cause of death was 'compression of the neck." But go ahead WildRose, MD, tell us your professional opinion.

He didn’t “put up a fight.” He was unnecessarily targeted and arrested by an overzealous, hotheaded cop who had a history of abusing his power…just like Zimmerman was a hothead wannabe cop who had a history of violence. He pulled his armed back and put them UP. Unlike Finicum, Garner’s hands were up when he was strangled.

And then he laid there for a long while without receiving medical attention from either law enforcement of paramedics until 7 minutes after he was made unconscious, at which point he was finally put on the stretcher and put into the ambulance.

Amazing to see the type of people you constantly defend.

He died because of the strangling that was totally unnecessary. A 400 lb, unarmed man is not a threat to that many officers. This was handled completely inappropriately by law enforcement. The people with the power in this situation-the ones with the firearms, the legal power, and the numbers-had the ability not to kill Garner that day.

Firing was not enough for Pantaleo.

Decries “Social justice nonsense buzzwords”
Also says: “Triggered”, “white knights” “social justice nonsense buzzwords”, all in one paragraph.

I heard once that people are most annoyed from others by what they see in themselves.

I’m not afraid of anything and everything I’ve stated is documented to be true.

The struggle and dog pile killed him, his airway was never cut off. The ME found evidence, some bruising on one side of his neck which was to be expected after such a struggle.

He died of a heart attack, not strangulation.

Chokehold. It’s easy to type. It’s in all the reports. Chokehold

Really, what earth shattering news, how could we have all missed it? I mean it’s not like there were any vieo or stills showing him in a chokehold.

He didn’t die of strangulation though, he died of a heart attack induced by the struggle and dog pile.

Yes the cop screwed up but that isn’t what killed him.

Answer this question. Would Garner have died that day had he chosen not to fight the cops?

Would garner had died if the police hadn’t murdered him?
