Yup. His comments, as posted in the op and later, are a dodge to put himself out there as the victim and the Republicans as evil persecutors. He is having to address his texts now, more shuck and jive.
Why are they asking questions about the ongoing Russia investigation, knowing full well that he cannot answer them, especially in a public setting. He told them this up front. The FBI told them this up front as well. This is just political theater and not actual oversight. The GOP has lost its mind.
(a) Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.
(b) He shall also disqualify himself in the following circumstances:
(1) Where he has a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party,
Congress determines the extent of their oversight, not the agency being investigated. Some Democrats seem to believe the FBI has oversight duties over Congress. It is the other way around.
Yet Strzok is part of what Russia wanted. He played into what he is saying Russia wanted, By the very fact that he used Government property to send text msgs to his mistress to trash Trump and appear to have some Plot against Trump.
He is acting like he plays no part in that at all.
And you applaud him for that?
The IG only investigate BIAS involving the Clinton E-mail Investigation the IG didnāt refer any of its Investigation into Bias in the current Mueller investigation and the FBI.
While the IG Report did not say that they could point to a specific decision that went this way or that, they did say that the FBI report in total was compromised. There are many judgment calls. Together, the IG report did find a compromised conclusion
From the IG Report:
"While we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that improper considerations, including political bias, directly affected the specific investigative actions we reviewed in Chapter Five, the conduct by these employees cast a cloud over the entire FBI investigation and sowed doubt about the FBIās work on, and its handling of, the Midyear investigation. "
Ok. They just found that āthe conduct by these employees cast a cloud over the entire FBI investigationā.
If you want to find that as not compromised, you are free to your interpretation.
