this is a compromise. biden can have his student loan give away so long as he pays for it with university endowment money

Bush signed TARP into law

And if you don’t believe them, just ask about their internal reviews and you’ll clearly see they’ve never done anything wrong.

it is akin to taking out an SBA loan so you can get rich and when you only get to upper middle class expecting the government to tax your customers to pay off your loan

Yes Bush did,

who was in charge of congress and Senate again?

Obama?

But seriously… the TARP bank bail out was a bipartisan bill and passed by both parties.

The universities will most likely raise their tuition prices to offset student debt relief which means the students will gain nothing at all.

The taxpayers will still get screwed however.

So why blame Bush?

then double the endowment tax and do it again. keep doing it until they stop!

I was responding to someone who laid the blame solely on Obama.

Was he talking about TARP?
Did he blame only Obama like you did Bush?

Did Obama have GOP support?

We made a profit of 121 billion on it. Not a fan personally but what’s your complaint?

I’ve never seen a single leftist on these boards EVER disagree with any Democratic policy or politician, even when failures are actually covered by the national press.

So you claim. And whether or not its true to any degree is pointless because regardless the accusation will be levied.

Have you never denied you are a Socialist? That’s the stripes I’m referring to.

But given the way you spelled “education” I can see why you think you need yours subsidized.
