One week till Marijuana is legal in Canada

And you do realize that they can’t really do in depth studies because of the scheduling of weed?

I bet if you smoke weed everyday for 25 years, it’s not health benefit. I fine with legalization but how they got you guys to believe it’s healthy is amazing… TV can make libs believe anything as far as I can tell.

True. I used a vaporizer a few times. Very gentle intake and an efficient use of weed.

That said I was a bong guy. We used to make gravity bongs like they were going out of style.

They have been studying pot as medicine since the 70’s on a federal level. They had a pill for a while, and may still have…

Hmm. Haven’t seen anything on TV about it yet. And with the thinking on alzheimer’s, yes - it is a (low) daily dose of THC that they think will help prevent it.

They have come out with some pill recently, I think. But look into how much they can actually study it due to the scheduling. Another benefit, and this one I know of personally and have stated here before - I went from having two - three migraines a week down to maybe one every two - three months. And there was a study by CU/Skaggs on that very subject, if you care to look it up.

I really regret that I never got to try LSD. Wouldn’t do it now at my age though.

It always scared me. I do want to try mushrooms, but I’ll wait till they’re legal and have some dosage guidelines. I did note some recommendations from this forum before they were deleted, but I guess there are more than one psychedelic mushroom, and I don’t want to take too much.

A lot of the Hollywood stars raved about LSD. Said some very impressive things. I think I actually did mushrooms one - hard to remember.

Lol. It’s funny that you don’t want to try it now that you’re older. With me, I was too scared to find out what was in the deep dark recesses of my mind when I was young, but now that I’m older I’m much more willing to try psychedelics.

I have a history of panic attacks - too scared to try now. That probably seems odd too because I smoke weed - but weed actually calms me down if I stick to the Indica.

That helps me too. I don’t have panic attacks, but I am prone to some anxiety. And I do want to try the mushrooms, but on the other hand I’ve been reading “How to change your mind”, and just reading some of his experiences have made me a little anxious. So I’d probably under dose the first time just to avoid some of that anxiety. I dated a guy when I was young that took LSD all the time, and I never could tell when he was on it and when he wasnt. Weird.

Haven’t tried it in about 40 years now, but still recall it as being about the most fun I’ve ever had. Everyday things became incredibly fascinating and hilarious. I’ve never laughed so hard since.

You probably can’t tell, but my avatar is from Simpsons blotter, from a USAToday (I think) article years ago.

I’m jealous. I want it. I’m channeling Timothy Leary.

Yeah bongs were fun. One of the vaporizers I have has a little water bong you can attach. It’s like smoking nothing, until it hits.

You could just go lick a toad.

LOL, with my luck, if I licked a toad I’d probably be rewarded with a prince - a certain Saudi one maybe.

Lol, let’s save him for Jared.

Wouldn’t recommend that. One time I did it, it turned out to be four hits, at least that’s my theory anyway, I had trouble talking for like a month afterwards. That stuff is way too strong to rely on black market dosage control. A few too many drops on the paper and see ya later.

There’s a term some people around here use doe those who believe in big government nanny states telling us what’s best for us and policing us. It’s right on the tip of my communist socialist tyrannical authoritarian tongue.
