This story continues to fall apart. Now another man whom Ford alleges was at the party has come forward to deny her story.
So far all the “evidence” that has been submitted has been exculpatory for Kavanaugh. His other friend also denied being at the party. Plus dozens of women have come forward saying he’s a man of good character.
Dems deserve a really severe backlash over this and I’m hoping they get it in November.

My point was obvious. Hiring an attorney when you have been accused of a crime, even one beyond the SoL, is not an admission of guilt (as Plasmaball implied) it is routine and wise.

If he did it then he shouldn’t be on the court, but there need to be more then an accusation to do that. She at a minimum needs to come testify under oath with cross examination and allow kavanaugh the ability to respond and she can do that on Monday.
Since Kav has stated he has never attended a party like the one Ford described, all the FBI would have to do is determine that Kav did indeed attend those types of parties in his youth. This should be information the FBI would be able to obtain by talking to the people who partied in his area at the time. If Kav attended these types of parties when he was a High School Senior, then his denial about attempting to rape Ford should also be called into question.
