So now Trump is tweeting that the NRA should just pick up and move to Texas. And the Texas AG tweeted that they would be welcomed.
It doesn’t work that way, and Trump should know that or he would have moved the Trump Foundation before it got desolved.

At first I did think that the NYAG was just going after the NRA Foundation since she mentioned them by name. However after more reporting I do now understand that she is going after the whole organization.
And I think she has the evidence to prove that they did a whole bunch of no-no’s.

Hard to believe anyone can reach that level of public office being so utterly stupid.

Her stated goal is to totally dismantle, destroy and run what’s left of the organization out of NY.

Wayne LaPierre? I agree. Completely and utterly stupid.

these are some of the things NRA top officials have done acording to the NY AG

In October 2016, LaPierre authorized a private flight for his wife to fly alone from Madison, WI, to Kearney, NE.
Asked why she did not use a commercial airline, LaPierre testified “I think it was probably easier to fly private, more convenient.”

LaPierre and his family visited the Bahamas by private air charter on at least 8 occasions, at a cost of $500,000+ to
On many of those trips, LaPierre and his family were gifted the use of a 107-foot yacht owned by
vendor.

The NRA has its own travel agency buy LaPierre decided to use his own and has the NRA pay them 19k a month for at lest the last 5 years

the NRA reimbursed LAPierre for pesonal gifs including $65,000 for Christmas gifts for his staff, donors, friends.

-LaPierre had the NRA pay 12k for his nieces 8 day sty at a 4 seasons

NRA treasurer woody phillips had the NRA give him a consulting contract worth 30k a month after his retirement
he got paid despite doing no actual consultin

The NRA’s executive VP of operations convinced an NRA contractor to hire his wife at 30k/month and then passed the entire 30k/month fee on to the NRA
He also had a nother contractor hire his father as a photograpgher and passed 93k in expenses for his father to the NRA

in 2018 the NRA paid 89k in a sexual harrassment case for him. a couple of month later he was accused again. the NRA neve rinvestigated him

in 2018 LaPierres senior assisitant charged the NRA 18k in connection with her sons wedding

There are a lot more charges in the lawsuit.

Do you think the N.Y. AG may have been paid off to do this? Or, maybe this proves how brain dead Democrat Leaders are.

The right to keep and bear is specifically intended to maintain an armed citizenry capable to defend itself against a despotic government.

Or maybe… and now hear me out because it is crazy… the NRA broke the law.

Or maybe, the state AG is doing her job.

The NRA is an inanimate entity… It cannot break the law. Only humans can break the law.

Corporations are people, at least according to the SCOTUS.

Is she going to dissolve the 1st amendments right to association when she does it?

The AG is a political hack who promised 2 things in her election, to take down Trump and to take down the NRA. She went fishing for crimes and couldn’t find any, so resorted to a bogus civil suit.

then why no criminal charges? its a political hack civil suit.

The NRA is free to spend its money on whatever it wants. If its all documented and reported, what’s the issue?

Your argument is with the SCOTUS, not me.
