Yeah, I’m pretty sure Florida is lost. Though I am curious to see how Nikki Fried does, pro gun and pro weed. That seems like a good combination for a Democrat down here.

Which review after review, those concerns have proven to be unfounded.
That’s a big part of the problem. It was entirely plausible to me that Trump could win. He got 70+ million votes. I can also honestly understand reasons why people would vote for the guy, generally.
In contrast, I find many Trump supporters couldn’t even fathom the possibility of Biden winning. Like the “basement” thing: I get it as outward-facing propaganda, I guess, but you don’t get high on your own supply.
I remember being among some of Trump’s beautiful, beautiful boaters (my family are Republicans), still flying back-deck banners and streamers in 2021, wearing hats, using (I ■■■■ you not) Trump inflatable rafts, etc. And it’s like: *Look at all this: you really think Biden won? Yeah, if you surround yourself with people like yourself, believe the stick-figures “liberals” in your head are real, watch Fox, OAN, and Newsmax (my brother won’t even watch Fox now—too liberal, or so he claims), listen to talk radio, read Breitbart et. al., and use Trump as a kind of gravitational center of truth and reality, it might seem inconceivable to you. Sorry: people in cults feel the same way. Look at the crowds at the rallies! Most people don’t want rallies or ■■■■■■■ hats; in fact, they probably wish politics could play less of a role in their lives, not be presided over by some clown with an ego like a black hole that sucks everything—sports, popular culture, consumerism, entertainment—into its awful orbit.
But how can these same people not understand—even vicariously, even as an experiment—that the guy is perceived by many (in America—and definitely abroad) as an insufferable, fatiguing blowhard, liar, co-artist, philanderer, and drama queen, who’s office was punctuated by one of the ■■■■■■■■■ years in all of American history? Even his own attorney general thought he had a temperament unfit for the presidency. His unfavorable ratings were always ridiculously high.
Let’s separate this from politics or partisanship: it was his profile before he entered the GOP race in 2015.
He entered my consciousness when my dad brought home The Art of the Deal back in the 80s. Even back then, he was the subject of constant, well-deserved ridicule from Spy Magazine because he was a ■■■■■■■ buffoon. In the 90s, he was known largely for a series of bankruptcies. He tried running for the reform party in 2000 (hey, he was pro-choice back then), and it went nowhere. One reason: he’s Donald Trump, for crap’s sake. In 2013, the onion even ran a satirical column from Trump’s point of view with the headline: When You’re Feeling Low, Just Remember I’ll Be Dead In About 15 Or 20 Years.

Once again, who CARES what a politician says? Can we look at the FACTS?
For 2016, there were 9.5MM votes cast. For 2020, there were 11MM votes cast. That’s a 16.6% increase in votes in 4 years. The numbers just don’t jive with history. We gained 14MM votes from 2004 to 2016. We gained 21MM votes from 2016 to 2020. A sitting President gained 10MM votes from one election to the next and lost the election. Again, just doesn’t pass the smell test, then watching election night, the number of votes that came in between 1AM and 5 AM were extremely slanted to Biden and that also didn’t make sense. We had from the start of the count until 1 AM, about the same percentage in each state with Trump holding a lead in every swing state by quite a large margin. From 1 AM to 5 AM, I’m supposed to believe that the data flipped on its head and all of the sudden Biden wiped out these massive leads and won in every single one of those swing states? I’m sorry, you believe what you want but there’s never been a vote count that I’ve seen in my lifetime where a candidate wiped out a lead in every single swing state to win the final election, all after 1 AM.
When I went to bed, I was watching the counts and the data showed a Trump lead in states like Pennsylvania that should have been a safe lead with the remaining vote outstanding. It would have required 85% of the remaining vote to go Biden’s direction to TIE and wake up the next morning and every single one went to Biden? Then we have liberals preaching at the top of their lungs, safest and most secure election in history, noting they threw a FIT in 2016 claiming fraud. Then we have liberals refusing to cooperate with the election investigation in places like AZ.
Sorry, it’s my opinion that this election was full of fraud because it just doesn’t pass the smell test and Liberals have done nothing to convince me that they are remotely interested in finding out if there was fraud. My statement in 2016 was make every vote public. If there was fraud, I want to know and that’s still my stance. Democrats could have said the same but they didn’t. Again, you’re welcome to your opinion, I just don’t agree. Too many things just don’t line up.

Don’t take silence on the conservative side to mean they disagree with President Trump about the 2020 election. He is in a position to know more than we know about it.
When he said that he had been “wiretapped,” nobody believed that, but it was true. He is mostly if not entirely right about what he says. If he didn’t have proof, he wouldn’t say it.

Look, if Trump had lost votes from 2016 rather than gained 11MM votes, I’d have a different opinion. Name another President that gained 17.8% from his previous election total and lost. Again, maybe it was legitimate but I just don’t trust liberals when they keep repeating the line and I really have a problem with it when social media is banning anyone that DARES suggest that the election was questionable. There is absolutely no way that Biden, the guy that couldn’t get a few hundred people to his rallies got 15MM more votes than Obama. That man was charismatic, had a message that resonated with people and I STILL see bumper stickers with his logo on the road. He had a MASSIVE following, he was a young black American guy that people liked. Biden is a crusty old white guy that no one has liked since the 80’s. Just doesn’t pass the smell test. I suspect one day we’ll learn the truth but the damage has already been done.

Absolute nonsense. George Bush Jr was demonized in the same way and it didn’t result in a 120 year high voter turnout. Obama was hated just as passionately by some. Didn’t result in a 120 year turnout. My God, do you remember the vitriol thrown at those two guys from each side?
