One of my favorite things—often brought on by the hypoxia of watching/reading too much Dinesh D’Souza—is the denial that the “Southern Strategy” even existed. Which is wild, because the Nixon strategist who helped design and implement discussed it openly at the time. It’s almost like there were people writing things down back then. (I have the PDF document for this whole 1970 article, but I am not sure how to post it on the forums).

I don’t care what person X says and I don’t care that people try to take whoever out of context or not. See, that’s the difference between left and right. I develop my own opinions, I don’t depend on politicians to give those opinions to me. Point blank: 120 year voter turnout high for a guy that couldn’t drag 200 people out of their house to a rally. That’s nonsense to me no matter WHO says WHAT.

Some, of course. 120 year historical levels? NOPE. There’s no other election in US history where a guy inspired a vote increase this large that didn’t have a message… that they were just voting to vote against the other guy. Just doesn’t happen.
I am one of those people that looks at the Democrat party and understands they’re the SAME party that existed in the 1800’s and 1900’s.
They justified slavery by saying black people weren’t human beings. Today, they justify abortion by saying babies aren’t human beings, they’re a clump of cells. They pushed for government control of health care, retirement and many other items in the 1900’s, they still push for those same things today. They pushed for abortion, following Margret Sangers lead as a way to control the black population and today, they continue to support Planned Parenthood “clinics” that are largely present in the black community. Think about this: Her dream has come true. Without abortion, black Americans would represent at least 18% of our population instead of 13%. I find that disgusting and it goes back to the root purpose of normalizing abortion. Democrats push the minimum wage as a way to keep minorities from getting on that first run on the ladder while they push for illegal immigration that keeps that cheap labor coming into the country… who does that impact more than the black community? They push welfare programs that encourage black families to break up. They run the cities with the worst crime and refuse to address it. Where does that crime exist? In the black community more than 50% of the time and the victims are almost exclusively black. This list can go on for pages and pages. The party of racism is the Democrat party. Always has been and always will be. You can ignorantly point to this big switch lie all you want but today’s policies from Democrats are just as disgusting as they were in the 1800’s and 1900’s. Why a black American will vote for these people is beyond me. I guess it’s Stockholm Syndrome. I wont’ repeat it but I’m sure everyone’s hear LBJ’s statement on black Americans voting for Democrats…

Are you just a troll or do you like to have serious conversations? You seriously think that Biden inspired a 120 year voter turnout? Use your brain. This isn’t about Trump, this is about voter integrity. I was fine with Obama winning because it looked reasonable. Yes, he got a 40 year turnout record and that’s not surprising. He was charismatic and had some ideas that I thought were horrible but they resonated with people. Biden excited NO ONE.

Yeah, when you are part of a rabid fanbase, it becomes hard to see other perspectives. Human nature I guess, you see with different hobbies as well.
No I’m not trolling most of the Trump supporters I know have a very inflated perception of Trump and they were shocked when he lost.
Biden did not inspire the turn out for him Trump inspired the turn out against him.
That’s not say his MAGA message is lost, it’s actually alive and kicking but it’s in danger of getting lost in the Trump stolen election noise.
