The place I work – we had about a 30% success rate. Other 70% no tone and no text announcement. And who of them who got them were at training back east someplace.
nothing happened here, no one got the alert.
I got the alert, but no sound. I didn’t feel my phone vibrate either. Nobody’s phone in the room made noise either.

I had my phone silenced during a meeting though.
I have two phones. I disabled all texts on one of them. I had my phone on silent on the other.
The first phone got no alert. The second phone got a silent text.
I was promised god awful sounds. I didn’t get them. I feel cheated.

I like how an emergency test alert was better used for testing how well you can ignore it.

I didn’t get it. Good.
I didn’t get the alert on my personal or work phone. Both are through Verizon, both were turned. One is a Samsung 8+ and the other a Samsung 7. I get Amber Alerts all the time but this one was a no show.
Count on it.
