Incidentally I think the linked article posted in the OP is pretty fair minded. It doesnât deny that there have been violent crime increases in urban centers like Chicago and New York, but does give the POV, based on numbers, that such news doesnât present a complete picture.
Iâd like to know that too, especially since some of the states showing violent crime increases in the article posted by the O P host largely white populations.
Hereâs another state with a largely white population, maybe slightly more males to females, and, as anyone with even one year of high school biology knows, males take more risks and at higher levels
than females. It doesnât take a mathematician to know there are far more prisons and death row cells occupied by men than women.
Again a youthful majority. Perhaps that explains the crime increase in some of these states?
Not sure which demographic that particular post was about, but really, I donât believe these statistics necessarily indicate racial minorities are the reason behind those increases.
