Murder rates highest in red states

What does one murder due to a rate in a small town?

Last I checked, SD, NE, IA, WY and MT weren’t “down south”.

Incidentally I think the linked article posted in the OP is pretty fair minded. It doesn’t deny that there have been violent crime increases in urban centers like Chicago and New York, but does give the POV, based on numbers, that such news doesn’t present a complete picture.

Republicans v democrat is a demographic

Clearly republicans governors can’t control crime like they claim they do.

What do demographics have to do with the undermining of the claim Dems are bad at controlling crime and Rs are good at it?

A. Let’s use the same one progs touted in the UE thread.

Mississippi is number 1. What’s the demographics, where are they killing, who are they killing and who controls those areas?

Is it intentional?

Republicans control the state.

Granted.

Now let’s look at the demographics and geography of the murders.

I’d like to know that too, especially since some of the states showing violent crime increases in the article posted by the O P host largely white populations.

Age demographics, maybe? Looks like Kentucky has a majority younger population.

https://worldpopulationreview.com/states/montana-population#:~:text=Montana%20Demographics.%201%20White%3A%2088.54%25.%202%20Native%20American%3A,7%20Native%20Hawaiian%20or%20Pacific%20Islander%3A%200.08%25.%20

Here’s another state with a largely white population, maybe slightly more males to females, and, as anyone with even one year of high school biology knows, males take more risks and at higher levels
than females. It doesn’t take a mathematician to know there are far more prisons and death row cells occupied by men than women.

Here’s Iowa:

Again a youthful majority. Perhaps that explains the crime increase in some of these states?

Not sure which demographic that particular post was about, but really, I don’t believe these statistics necessarily indicate racial minorities are the reason behind those increases.

Good. Who’s doing the killing and where?

To what end?

What demographics are you looking for other than the premise of the thread… which is red v blue and murder rates?

Honesty.

All of them.

How is that relevant to the claim?

No one says “The GOP is good at controlling crime, unless it’s inner city (pick a demographic) doing the killing.”

I’ll check back later on those demographics.

What specifically? You don’t want every demographic available.

You are looking for specific ones, what are they?

No need, you have them.

Cognitive ability would be great. Geography and control of high incidence.

Maybe the same ones brought up in the UE thread by progs.

Nah, I looked.

You like his busybody laws?

No.
