I’m beginning to see the problem. Who was going in as the Marines were coming out?

Not retribution, no nothing.
A simple turning of our tail and cutting our losses.

Let’s focus in and look at the debacle.
200 plus marines died. For what?
Nothing.
We knew who did it and did nothing.

Always active politically. I was well past the mall stage as I was 26.

Some know this. Others don’t. It is illegal to follow an illegal order. He was not given an illegal order. So he needed to follow any legal order. Any mention of nazi trials shows ignorance.
I support his purpose … even to the extent of not shutting up. But he made a mistake when he threatened to “bring the whole %$#h@*& system down”. My opinion is THAT is what they will nail him on. They wouldn’t spend much time on just being outspoken. Other- even famous- officers have been outspoken. But that threat…
