Are you the resident of a State in which a “sanctuary city” has been established. In what States or Cities have voters tossed out the politicians who have imposed such policies?
If something is going on is a location where you don’t live, how is it being shoved down your throat?
The census grants extra voting power to those areas that have illegals. Remember how anxious Democrats were to be sure that every illegal was counted in the census?
Democrats seem to all wanted to provide federal dollars for programs like health care for illegals. Whose tax dollars are going to provide those benefits.
And, ultimately, immigration law enforcement is a Federal issue, not a state issue. I’m for enforcing our laws, not hiding law breakers. Would you also be for allowing states to have their own laws on segregation because it only affected people in that state?
How does the census grant extra voting power? Just start there.

Very finely, and surgically at that.
That response was a “no” to my question. Thanks for solidifying the point.
As to your congratulating yourself on your fine surgical point… can we get to specifics rather than trumpeting generalities.
And what was your question? I can’t find it among all the self-congratulation.

Congressional districts are established by population, not by number of legal US citizens allowed to vote in a district. Therefore, areas with large numbers of illegals will get more Congressional power per voter. Why do you think Democrats were so adamant that the census not ask the question of whether one were a legal resident, or a citizen, or not?
Its the reverse of one citizen one vote.

Yup. It certainly is.
The “majority”.
We are not a democracy.
When will that sink in?
Looks like the acquittal still holds, regardless of the poll.
“Minutes after Chief Justice John Roberts gaveled out President Trump’s impeachment trial , which had consumed the Senate for almost three weeks, Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell , R-Ky., got right back to what he’s said is his top priority – confirming judges .”

The reason the citizenship question was opposed was that its intent was to intimidate legal citizens from participating in the census.
As I live in a location with many Hispanic residents, most citizens, some legal immigrants and some undocumented, I am have many friends who have made clear the extent to which they feel intimidated by Trump admin policy.

It’s quite obvious having only 27% Republicans surveyed you are going to get the skewed results you did.
Doesn’t matter anyway.
Libs will never change their mind re: the impeachment, and neither will the other side, so arguing anything is a waste of time.
If the trial had ended with a conviction we would now be hit with a flood of “you have to respect the results of the system”.
Well, whether they respect the results of the system or not, guess who still gets to nominate judges. And Pelosi can’t even tell the Senate how to handle the confirmations.
Wait, isn’t the “McConnell standard” that judges don’t get confirmed during an election year?
Asking for a friend named Merrick Garland.

Illegals should be intimidated…and go home. There is absolutely no reason for a legitimate US citizen who is also Hispanic would be intimidated. That doesn 't even make sense.
No, the Democrats want illegals counted to grant Democrat areas extra voting power.
I’m sure you know how it works.

2016 called and wants their policy back.

They are overplaying the ■■■■■■ hand they had to begin with.
I may not make sense to you, but that is a failure of empathy on your part. If you knew a broader swathe of your fellow citizens you would understand this.
What a condescending load of crap/
