Yes it is a fact. Unless, that is, the mask is specifically designed to filter out virus sized particles from inhaled air, they will not prevent you from being infected. The type of masks people are being encouraged to wear don’t stop the virus from being inhaled or exhaled. What they do is retard the velocity of exhaled micro drops of spittle which may contain the virus if YOU are infected. You catch the illness by contact with micro drops expelled by infected people not wearing masks, not by not wearing a mask yourself. Surely, after five months of being informed by numerous medical experts, one should know that.

Wrong … you get the virus through close or confined proximity with infected people who are not wearing masks whether you are wearing a mask or not. I agree that if everyone wore a mask while being around other people, the problem of community spread could be greatly reduced, but wearing one does not protect you from being infected by those who are not.
For ■■■■■ sake man, no it does not 100% but wearing a mask sure as hell gives you more protection than no mask at all.

No … it does not. That myth is being used to scare people into compliance, but it serves no preventive purpose for the wearer.

Its not what I say, it’s what doctors and virologist say. Wearing a mask is not about protecting you, it’s about protecting others.
You are so hung up on this that you apparently haven’t even noticed that I have said repeatedly that everyone should be wearing a mask while mingling with others in public. But don’t let the facts get in the way of haven’t a good rant.
You know exactly what I mean. And it all amounts to the same thing. Wear a ■■■■■■■■■■■■■ mask. You wearing a mask will protect others and others wearing a mask will protect you.
I am past caring about those who dont wear mask and get infected. I dont really give a ■■■■ if they live or die. Perhaps this is just natural selection we are seeing at work.
But I sure do care about those who have done their best to stay safe and been infected because of these selfish ■■■■■■

Well it’s as good logic as this entire thread with all the mask nonsense. Louie was tested because he was asked to travel with the President to Texas, he didn’t have any symptoms so it came as quite a surprise, so he’s gets a 2 week vacation. I just saw him on Sean Humanity’s show and he looks fine.
So you’re referring to a rumor you may or may not have heard or read to base this on?
