Just seeing their confederates being zip tied, unmasked and hauled off to a federal detention facility, with charges pressed and convictions, with real punishment to follow will take the backbone out of the mob. The strength of the mob is the perception that its members can’t be held individually accountable because of the mob.

There wasn’t one until yesterday for five years. Mobs don’t think about consequences.
They’re pardoned now, but there were zero more riots out of the right after that.
But in all seriousness, violent crimes are exactly what most people think criminals should get no leniency for.

And i get the mentality because that should be the repercussion. I just don’t believe that it work as any kind deterrent.
Putting people under the jail as punishment is necessary often times and essential but it never works to stops other people from criming
If they’re destroying city infrastructure in order to fashion lethal projectiles, and then launch said projectiles at the law enforcement who are trying to remove invaders from our country, I see no reason for them to be let go.
In fact, it makes me want to see an all-out brawl, and screw everyone for making me cheer for the cops.

There were riots and businesses being burned and rocks thrown at Kent state. Leading up to the shootings. They weren’t peaceful.
Oh and by the way everyone. The leadership of the different organizations that lead up to the riots were arrested and sentenced to jail. It didn’t stop further protests and rioters
Leaders become martyrs. What did everyone say when Trump got shot?
The minions see the leaders being punished by the final boss, and are emboldened by it.
Send the minions to jail, let them see their leaders walking free while they rot.
